Alright, obligatory post for this car. McLaren Speed tail, the supposed successor of the Legendary McLaren F1 built by the man himself, Gordon Murray. Murray had else in mind and built the T50 but that’s a different story. The Speed tail only comes produced with 106 units @ $2.5 million with a top speed probably limited at 250mph. Should be faster if it’s supposed to be a proper F1 successor but the original F1 wasn’t only about speed either. This car strikes me as a roaring 20’s kind of car, rare and flashy. Owner came in with two ladies as it should. Retains the original middle cockpit seat with two seats tucked behind parallel. Car weighs 3100lb with a carbon monocoque and powered by a 4.0L twin turbo charged V8 out putting 1,036hp and 310hp of that from an electric motor. One of the coolest run ins I’ve had.
