I decided I would try and create a footprint for schematic and layout without any help. This is the first sign of how user-friendly the software really is, well I failed so here I am ready how to create both schematic and layout footprints while following your instructions.
Is there a smart naming convention for the library versus the device versus the symbol versus 3d Model? I'm creating a Heltec ESP32 Wifi Kit board device, so should they all be named that?
OK into this video by 5 minutes and I like what I see. Fingers crossed there will be more schematic and layout tutorials?

How do you import multiple symbols when designing a symbol? You can do this in Eagle, but I can't find it in Fusion360? Are you limited to only importing one part?

I'm a tech-voc student in senior-high, and just wanna know how can I use the component I made in the library because nothing's appearing. I've been searching for quite a while now and there's still nothing.
Just wondering how you include power pins here?
when I create my own part like you did I can get it in my parts library, there is the name of the part and under it is "no selectable asset available".
Any way we can have multiple GND pins without renaming them GND1 GND2 etc?
What an mess to draw a triangle with the symbol editor of Fusion 360 Electronics. It took me quite some time to accept the fact that i need to modify a rectangle to achieve this task.... The question about power pins still has not been answered after 2 years.
If the NAME label is on the "Names" layer and the VALUE label is on the "Values" layer, why aren't the pins in the "Pins" layer?
Any reason NOT to allow placement of SVG or other graphics on the silkscreen layers? Import low quality Bitmaps via a horrid process is not a solution in 2021.
No technical reason other than it hasn't been implemented yet. For now the "horrid" process is still the way to go. Things are getting better and I have a feeling this will be resolved sooner rather than later.
Why make an instruction video using such an annoyingly slow voice? But that's nothing compared to the inapproriate use of prefix words like "simply" and "just...". Fusion 360 library management is an industry wide joke. They refuse to fix its gapping holes and near complete unusability. Stop telling us it's easy or optimal workflows. Just tell us without how to assign an existing 3D model of a component to a device that already has a symbol and footprint. It's not too much to ask.
