I believe that the overall difficulty of the events adjusts according to your team level so even though super strong teams might have a easier time, they cannot rush the boss immediately. For my path, I only collect buff 13. Once I reach node 40, I beat node 42 even though the storm power is strong. Then 43-45-48-49-46-44-47-51. Like Cornelius said, it's important to leave node 50 for the end. My team is Galahad (Oliver), Yasmine (Cain), Orion (Merlin), Celeste (Biscuit), Thea (Axel) and Axel. For the boss, I might ditch Thea and replace her with Martha to speed up the damage. I usually try the boss once I reach at least 215 storm resistance.
Hey, thanks for sharing! Sounds like a very solid team for this event. And yes, the enemy strength is adjusted to your account strength at the beginning of the event (I think it is not yet known how exactly this is calculated).
I've found out this time that the level of all the opponent is aligned on the power of your strongest hero. Because my Issac level 106 is a bit more powerful at 62k than my other heros to that are level 110, the event only has level 106 opponents !
I pushed up Isaac first artefact, second artefact and heath quite strongly to fight osh at level 125, that's the reason why he has so much power. I didn't need to increase his level once that was ok, since I don't rely on him a lot outside of osh. It ends up really useful ! 😆
@@CorneliusSecrets I didn't mention it but all my heroes I use in the Great Storm are almost max power because I do not raise multiple characters at once, but bring one to Red +2 and then move on to the next. It has the caveat of not leaving a lot of flexibility and I would have probably powered my characters differently at the beginning had I known better! But people should definitely realize that Thea is way stronger than most realize. Since they improved her in june 2023, she's become much more interesting, especially with her two ascension skills. And the magic defense bonus whenever she activates her ultimate also helps a lot.
Great info, thanks! I use Corvus, Morrigan and Phobos, with Thea and Iris. The Undead Three are a great combo. Plus Corvus' totem and Iris' Expose Soul are a good tank killer.
Hey, cool team! I am not too experienced with the undeads to be honest. But its great to hear that they are good for this event! I prefer if as much heroes as possible are viable in this game and fun to play :-)
Don't you get in trouble with the Storm Damage killing Corvus quickly? Since his health needs to be high (for the Altar effectiveness), the storm hits him CRAZY hard!
Thanks again from a FTP newbie! I have a question about the boss fight: Is damage cumulative or does the boss's health reset to 100% before a new battle? I have another unrelated question: My account level is 82 and I'm struggling to level up heroes on my top 2 teams. I have 3 heroes at 82, 3 at 77, and 4 at 70. Gold shortage is my key constraint. I've been ignoring Ascension because it seems like another way to use up what little gold I get each day. At what point does Ascension become an important/worthwhile investment? Thank you!
Fortunately it's cumulative damage. You need a team that can easily get to the top of the tower each day, it helps for the gold. If you don't need the bonus, it gives a little extra gold, not a lot but still helpful. Then when you're F2P, you can't get a lot of gold from the dungeon, except when you've reached a really high level. So the best remaining option is to get many chest from the events, it doesn't seem so impressive at first, but it does sum up actually.
The REAL problem in chapter 14 is the healer. Unless you're super-powerful, my opinion is control wins the whole chapter. Specifically, stun, stun, stun, stun, stun. I don't remember, I've been stuck on the last battle for a while now, but... I think I used Cleaver/Polaris/Arachne/Mojo/Thea with Oliver. I'd recommend Mara if you have a strong one, I did not. By strong, I mean violet+ 100+. Thea's silence combined with the other 4's stun and Polaris lengthening the effect was how I... barely... rolled through 14. Now that I see this comment was 2 months ago, you're probably so much farther now. But I typed it, so here you go.
Dear Cornelius, how we can know how many resistances are enough for the current team to kill the final boss? Is there any chart relating hero powers with resistance?
Hey, unfortunately I don’t think there is such a chart. If it is your first great storm event try to ask in the official hero wars discord if someone has a similar team to yours and experience with this boss fight. Also this event runs every other month I believe. So whatever worked this time for you make sure to make a note for next time!
260? That is the maximum amount you can collect I believe. Not sure why it is 260 to be honest as the boss seems to be at 250. Also the question was at which team resistence you can reliable fight the boss (thats at least how I understood it). The answer to this is for sure below 250 but how far below 250 depends on too many things to give an easy formula. So I think it's best to ask someone who has first-hand experience with a similar team.
Is there a stat chart of these enemies that can be found in Pet event and Campaign? I never know if I'm fighting magic, physical or control enemies. Also, their levels of stats.
Hey, I think there is no comprehensive stat chart. There are a couple of wiki pages that might help, like the Great Storm page: hero-wars.fandom.com/wiki/Special_Events/The_Great_Storm#Defeating_the_first_squad The above link states: The enemies, counterclockwise from the start, seem to be Chapter 9/10 enemies, Chapter 11/12/13 enemies, Chapter 14/15 enemies, Chapter 2/3/7 enemies, Chapter 4/6 enemies, Chapter 1/8 enemies from the campaign. Also here is a list of some of the Great Storm enemies: hero-wars.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Enemies
lady ministrels (the mob which charms Jasmine) is going to become completely useless when you have either Polaris (Rank: violet minimum) or Morrigan (also rank violet minimum) or both in your team. Astaroth is a better option if you don't have either polaris or morrigan.
Oh, Morrigan helps against the Lady Minstrels? How so? Do the Ladys charm Morrigans skeletons instead of the front line heroes? And yes, Polaris might be useful here too. But her 3rd skill is inactive sometimes and while it is active it might not completely shut down Lady Minstrels charms. So I would think that Sebastian still is the better choice unless Polaris has a lot more power.
@@CorneliusSecrets yep, that Blue Harpist can charm only 1 or 2 skeletons the most, since her control fades fast. Morrigan's skeletons are a made for distraction, so, the Blue Harpist will go for the skeletons. if Morrigan has 6 skeletons under her control, even Jasmine is going to have a hard time killing her. Thanks to Tower, I realized how OP Morrigan is. she can even confuse Dante and block revival. why don't you try this team: Dodge cloud (pet) - Martha - Morrigan (oliver)- Polaris - Jasmine (Dodge Cloud) - Celiste? this is what team i am using.
HEy, great advice about Morrigan. Thanks! She is indeed very useful for distracting enemies! That sounds like a great team if you don't have a good Sebastian.
Hey, no it is semi random each new event. I say semi because there are groups of tiles which can have a total of one chest in them (at least that is how it seems). So it is unlikely (impossible?) to have two chests one next to the other.
I would love it were guaranteed to never put two chests on the inner ring ! (happened to me once, is really painful when you have a limited number of action points) Also chests on the wrong side of the inner ring can be annoying. On top with 170/175 storm strength, at least you can fight them early even when the storm resistance isn't so high.
Once a youtube channel reaches a total 50k views it can apply to the 2nd level of Nexters content creatorship. After that Nexters sends the owner three gift packages at the beginning of each month.

You are using Heroes at the 130 level, which is not the average player strength, therefore your guidance doesn't fit most players.
You're wrong. The enemy's level changes with your total hero power. So it is the same.
