20-Year-Old Slain Marine Honored on Final Journey Home

- Marine Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz received a hero’s welcome last week, as the 20-year-old's body was transferred from a Missouri airport to a funeral home. An honor guard led the Humvee that carried his casket, while mourners lined the streets to pay their respects to a fallen service member. Schmitz is one of 13 service members killed in Afghanistan in August by a suicide bomber. The remains of the 11 men and two women landed on American soil, and are now making their final journeys home.

I respect that inside edition posts this kind of stuff because just on Friday I think CPL Daegan W. Page was brought to a funeral home pretty close to me and the family of CPL Daegan W. Page lives in my aunts and uncles neighborhood so I very much respect all of the people that lost their live to the suicide bomber and thank you to everyone that lost their lives in the war thanks to all who served us
