I think Darkside needs painters that can give their statues that lifelike quality.
Cool piece but no where near the $2500 price tag
I was surprised by the price point on this one, but it is what it is I guess.
Darkside makes great statues.....for the year 2010. And yes even the star trek pieces dont look as good as they should for $1500
I do own their star trek pieces and they are amazing in terms of painting quality and likeness, believe me.
The Star trek pieces are top notch.
The most impressive part of the video is realizing just how deep that shelving goes.

i received the statue and i am really impressed by the details, the paint application and it is a really heavy statue! a solid one! so far as being a great terminator collector for more than 15 years i must say that is the best 1/4 scale statue so far and the most accurate. the leather textures and the details on the bike are super!!! the likeness is there and it is a massive statue. i cannot understand though how some people are talking about a statue that they do not own! or how they can judge if the painting is flat if it is not in front of them??? how they compare this bike with the xm bike which comes from a comic!!!??? a true collector and a heavy collector appreciates all the details. this statue is huge and worths every dollar! also you do not buy such a massive statue just to get a signature from Arnie but knowing that he gave his blessing for this statue is a plus for me. with love from a terminator freak....

It does have an actual signature a Arnold signature on the certificate of authenticity. Maybe the signature was just on the Exclusive edition ?

it’s not a tumor ! Yeas its an actual signature with a paint pen !
It's not worth the price. Rather built the diorama myself by getting the old Enterbay 1/4 figure and get 1/4 harley davidson RC replica and put them together. Still will be paying much less and will look a lot better with the same amount or even better precense.

Terminator the original was great, but it was T2 that made us fans forevermore. This is quite an expensive piece but if I had the money Id buy it for sure

It looks good. But it isn't wowing me.... Prime 1's Endoskeleton, on the other hand has, which is why I've pre-ordered it.
I feel the price is pretty steep for this one, although I do think the finished product looks really nice overall.

I almost bought it until you said printed coa signed.
Would of been more impressive in 2012. Today this is just Meh and I own many of the Terminator high end pieces Queen etc but not interested in this

Thanks for the nice review. Just receive my unit and have to admit is very impressive and heavy , likeness is arnie for sure not like the prime1 1/2 unit I have which is terrible. Presence of the statue is fantastic. The certificate would have been great to be hand signed but I don’t mind cause this is an official signature. Paint is very good with great details and I don’t think is flat as someone said, flat is the paint on pcs conan unit for example. Overall very satisfied to have in my collection, very happy with it. As for the price tag if this was done by other companies could have easily been 3-4k range (taking into consideration that you have simple 1/4 statues with fabric at 2k) I think it would be great to hear opinions of people that own the unit not just haters 😂😂, very funny to see people even complaining about star trek units when they have among the best likeness I have seen. Their Spock is stunning and Kirk is fully sculpted and is like silicon head without being silicon and it’s half the price of a silicon product.
People are not 'haters' when they deplore that there is no hand signature from Arnold and that the Darkside avertissement was ambiguous on this point. They are simply consumers and collectors who care about price and quality.
Thanks for the review. A nice idea to start with, but incredibly overpriced for what you get. But height of unforgiveness comes from the "signature" annoucement which is actually a mere copy of Arnold's signature, whereas darkside collectibles advertised an autographed model in their description (I still have the original ads), which, in the area of collecting, means hand-signed by the artist, which is not the case here. Clearly, this company has concealed this fact to the detriment of its customers, which is a kind of disgrace and lack of respect for T2 fans. Besides, the very high price may have led buyers to believe that it was a genuine hand signature. As a collector, I will definitively avoid this company for the future.

The face Sculpt is off looks nothing like Arnold, the bike is the best part really.
I do think it looks like him, but likeness is always subjective
Doesn’t look up to the standard of the forthcoming prime 1 pieces. Paint looks flat, no chrome on the bike, sculpt looks unrealistic. Looks decent from a distance, but at that price point I expect much more now days.

Despite everyone's gloomy predictions about statue companies, there's ANOTHER new statue company, Paladin. Flankster released a video of a new Lord of the rings Witch king statue from a brand new company. Statues and busts are probably selling more today then before prices went crazy. It's just that instead of from three statue companies, it's from ten. So let's stop the sky is falling. No one is going out of business unless they're just a poorly run company.
