So many comments about how good Joseph Gilgun is. I feel obligated as a fellow fan to suggest everyone watch "This is England" (the movie and the tv series).
It took me about 1 whole minute of Joe speaking to absolutely fall in love with him. The way he kept pointing out crew in the audience was so adorable!
Joseph Gilgun is by far the most entertaining. Everyone else, feels like corporate media, asking for boring answers. No craic. I'd have a pint with Joseph.

I was a HUGE fan of the comics when I read and re-read all of them when I was a teenager and now, after seeing the first 4 episodes I can tell you that this show is gonna end up going toe to toe with the walking dead. It's now my favorite fucking show I love it!
Tulips relationship with those kids is why we love her. She despences what she sees as her justice - you get what's coming to you: The bad boys violence, the children love, safety and humour all at the same time.
The different genres that Seth Rogen lists that make up what Preacher is -- science fiction, horror, western, Southern gothic, Scorsese-an & Tarantino-esque stuff -- gives them much to work with in the creative sense. There is next to nothing that is off limits with the show. He later mentions the vast canvas they have to work with -- namely the stylistic level, narrative level & story level -- in which the viewer is entertained by & thus has no idea what would happen next. This is the formula that makes for a great & long-lasting TV show. Plus the fact that co-creator Garth Ennis has given Seth & Evan free reign as far as what & what not use, even going so far as encouraging them to make additions according to their personal wishes. I can see Preacher lasting for like at least 7 or more seasons on AMC.
At 37:59 Garth says "That's fuckin' right!" Awesome. I barely started the comic but I guess I shouldn't be surprised a huge fan like Seth gets it. Feels nice to know an adaptation is being made from someone like that

STARMAN should be a series, based on the 90's comic. Something street level, with a lot of weight on character interaction and personal drama. By amc, in a separate universe. Not the cheesy CW (wish is cool, but everything looks cheap)
