The referee certainly played his part in South Africa trying to win - a shame the side couldn't match his efforts.
Everyone can see that this Ref was playing No 16 for England, all the uncalled infringements by England and the necessary yellow card at the end which resulted in the loss.
They obviously have a different rule book in South Africa. Everywhere else you have to stay on your feet in a ruck not all dive on the ground and prevent your opponents rucking the ball out
Nah, officials follow World Rugby's rules.
@@Zenda_Nior Then why did nearly all the referee's allow SA to dive over the ball in a ruck? Its quite telling that the SA teams all dive over the ball to kill any chance of quick ball by their opponents.
It’s Southern Hemisphere rugby. It’s only cheating if u get caught at something.
Hmm the South African team clearly relied upon being physically dominant too much. When they were confronted with a big physical England team which could deal with them they looked shell shocked and didn’t have a way of playing outside that. England team looked big, fit and extremely well coordinated. Looked like a team whilst SA looked like a collection of individuals
South Africa's u 20 aren't that physical at all.
@@LiverPools-ib5fv England captain in the post-match interview disagrees. Think he would know.
Physically dominant lol? I don't think so the dreadful condition of the surface worked completely in their favour they are nowhere near the English lads 😂
@nickrad6966 yeah OK beavis and butthead. Unfortunately for players, they don't get a view of the entire game like we do.
Ngl I don’t know what is going on but go team
Why does this sound like it was recorded 30 years ago 😂
SA U20 embarrassed again! WTF is the coach?
This match convinced me it does not matter what rugby school you take your child to, talent is talent.
Wow England! What power & defense!!🏴🏴👏🏻👏🏻
Pity that it was played on a poor pitch in difficult wet conditions in front of hardly anyone in the stadium.
C'est l'habituelle technique des Sud Af pour tricher. Rappelez-vous le 1/4 de finale de la coupe du monde de 1995.
Throwing punches and scrapping after the whistle has blown is not aggresive rugby its idiotic soccer fan antics.
Brilliant victory! 🏴
Bravo les Anglais, joli combat 👍
Springbok supporter here. The all blacks just play the best running rugby. Can't wait for the southern hemisphere clashes to start.
Whoever this ref is desperately needs to have a look at attacking players going off their feet at the ruck. Horrendous

C'est bien quand il n'y a pas de faute d'arbitrage ! Très beau match.
The host grounds is terrible.
Well below the standard for hosting world cups.
Atrocious conditions and play allowed
And yet Ireland cancelled and eliminated
No fair
And im English
Don't start them off ! The bokkes think we own world rugby
the conditions are bad for both teams if not worse for england so why does it matter
If England had scored those two conversions, they would have beaten South Africa with a difference of 9 points, which meant that Georgia would be playing for 5-8 places now, and not for 9-12, England, why???... .
That last line out was not straight lol. Touch judge didn’t wanna call it. Probably wanting the boys to decide the game but you gotta call that.
New Law trial from July 1st: as defence (SA ) didn't go up to contest, the 'not straight' is not enforced as they have not been disadvantaged. Intention:? Defence has choice - stay on ground and contest the driving maul or go up and look to contest in air; if in competing in air - not straight is enforced, i.e. there's a benefit to contesting.
Both teams in white shorts is not ideal.
12:50 dumbest move ever! Take penalty kick and win the game..
Can they win without a bomb squad?
Where the young bucks learn from?
One of the worst SA u20 team to date. Embarrassment
Nope. Looked really good and organised. England matched them. accept the loss gracefully.
Just got beat by a better team .
@@samoday2992 don't agree, look at the Argentina game they got smashed. With the player pool SA have they should do alot better.
Chill out, this is about player development
@@matthew3078 don't care if you a bok you play to win especially if it's on your own turf..
Never seen a try where the player kicked through with the trailing foot what a fluke lol 😂
He clearly grew up playing soccer than switched codes. Soccer by far the most popular sport in SA btw.
Not back ten metres tackling a try scoring player is a professional foul: yellow card f5:49
And then. At 13:06 he gives it, inconsistent
Oh look a fight or handbags within 9 minutes. Shame south africa show the kids how not to be rugby players. Never to reach all blacks world respect. Shame.
Who cares about ABs this is Boks in SA.
Appalling officiating.
How cheap is the World Cup organisation
