When you were chasing the donkey foals everywhere super fast (first video I watched from you) and when the Puma was stuck in the tree (so sad but cute!) Those were at 0:43 and 0:47 (Coincidence they were after each other!) And all the horse stuff like catching the dark bay. Happy New Year! But when wrangling like that I'm not always been a fan of how calves and foals etc get pulled back really hard and quick on their neck. I'm not against it, I've just never been interested in it. But good job!

I wanna say my favorite part of your blog is EVERYTHING, but, #1 really is the way you guys & gals make doing a hard job, in old school fashion, so dang much FUN - and you take us along on the adventures for all the good, bad and ugly. Miss Prissy Drama Queen wouldn't know REAL life if it jumped up and chomped on her overused hindquarters. Someone needs to tell her how ugly a foul mouth is. Do you know what I would give to load up my mustang mare, leave the rat race & concrete jungle and come join your gang? My mare hates this city living as much as I do (right now she's stuck at a stable with lobotomized horses). Your blogs inspired me to learn a new skill. I bought a used lariat. The mare isn't thrilled yet though! I used to farm and it's all I wish to do again. When I was a kid, my equines & dogs were the sum total of my entertainment and my daily companions.
At 5:55 the horse needs the rider off to get up the incline... then the mule's turn with rider on "Here, hold my beer," and goes right up. LOL ( I tease as I have both horses and a mule.)
My wife and I just discovered your channel a couple of days ago, and we love the exciting adventures you guys take us on plus all the beautiful scenery, you guys look like you are having a great time on your trail rides.

I can’t think of a name but somehow you do....? Just cus they’re not prancing around in a arena and pampering their horses, doesn’t mean they’re abusing them at all. Their horses look healthy, are well trained, and cared for and appreciated. Cattle get handled like this on occasion, they are let to go on range and don’t have to worry about people bugging them for most of their life. Yet y’all still be out here eating beef yet whining when someone has a more traditional ranch style 🙄
This is just ridiculous... I 100% agree with raliegh. You should not be doing this... You have no feelings and this is just horrendous abuse... You don't give a crap about these poor animals... How would you like it if someone was chasing you constantly and putting some ropes on you that you've never seen... You've never understood why these people hurt you. They're mean, cruel, and completely ignorant of what they're doing. Absolutely ridiculous... You think this is some kind of a joke... But one day you're gonna get hurt or even killed doing this and lots of people in the equestrian world wouldnt care... You think doing this to these poor innocent animals is fine, but it's not... They're terrified. Scared for they're life and you don't care... The world needs to wake up and put down idiots like this.

I’ve watched the red haired girl and she thinks that basically everyone but her is in the wrong with their horses. she’s correct on some parts but amplifies it to a point of exaggeration.
I can't believe none of ya got crippled or killed doing what you do. The roping of the wild burros was incredible. It is hard to believe anyone can lasso an animal at a full gallop in rough country like that. That is skill and guts. Keep on.....

I'm 62 and ride a good mule.All we ever do is ride on good trails and go to chuck wagon races all summer. We have the easy life. Good to see mules used in the rough country.

To all the haters you don't understand what it's like to be raised in the country working wild cattle breaking horses and mules and a few days where you can start using them I know it's popular for everybody to Wanna Be The Horse Whisperer but watching these good old boys get it done is hell it was whenever I was a kid in the 60s we were known a horse if you wouldn't load up in back of a pickup truck and when you're out in the country and you're young you find things to have fun a horse goes to bucking and everybody goes to whooping you're working cattle all day and you're tired he cut up and laugh from Oklahoma we like your videos

I think one of the first ones I saw was when you all were moving the cattle up the mtn to the summer pasture. I subbed that very show. Loved watching you catch the little burros too and hope you go back this year. I like how you highlight a mules capabilities in rough terrain too. I'll be honest, there are times you all scare me to death where you take the mules! I truly enjoy the beautiful scenery on every vid. I've never seen that part of the country and it's breathtaking! I love all of it especially the parts that piss off people who have no idea how it works when you're in the ranching business. I really enjoy the blowups and wild rides, reminds me of when I was youngster ranching in the mountains of Wyoming.

@Jade French I don't know where you are get your horse sense, but I can tell you from many years of experience that there are plenty of horses out there that buck because they love to. If you are a horse whisperer and have some inside knowledge then I apologize, but honestly I just don't think you have ever dealt with a string ranch horses and especially not a string of broncs that spend their whole life bucking.

Some will enjoy some things, others much prefer other things. That said, bucking broncs are generally unsafe to ride, and certainly won't buck if trained not to, unless they are fearful or in pain. Just as dogs who love to play tug of war need to know that they are not allowed to do so with a person's hand. Obviously some horses love bucking, but they should never do it under saddle, and if the problem persists after a gentle reminder to stop, then an investigation to see why it is happening must be done. There are too many people shrugging off issues that horses have and label it as misbehavior, a personality trait, or (heaven forbid) the way of the horse. We as humans are responsible for the well-being of the animals in our care. We need to make them feel just as safe around us as we need to feel safe around them. Excuses aren't enough anymore. True solutions are needed.
The closest thing to horses and mules I’ve ever had is goats, so I’m definitely not experienced with equine. But now that I’m in college, I don’t even have my goats anymore. This channel reminds me what I’m doing this for (as an agriculture major). One day I’ll have goats again, and maybe even some mules of my own 😊 Also, my college mascot is “Mule Riders”

They do these to get likes on their video and to be macho. Anyone that respects and cares for animals does not promote this kind of treatment of animals. There is no excuse for it.

If you are a horse whisperer and have some inside knowledge then I apologize, but honestly I just don't think you have ever dealt with a string ranch horses and especially not a string of broncs that spend their whole life bucking.
@@troypersson7630 To be honest none of the clips looked like the mules were bucking just for the hell of it. They looked in pain and stressed and in some clips downright terrified

@Troy Persson Horses and animals of any kind are very much individuals. Some will enjoy some things, others much prefer other things. That said, bucking broncs are generally unsafe to ride, and certainly won't buck if trained not to, unless they are fearful or in pain. Just as dogs who love to play tug of war need to know that they are not allowed to do so with a person's hand. Obviously some horses love bucking, but they should never do it under saddle, and if the problem persists after a gentle reminder to stop, then an investigation to see why it is happening must be done. There are too many people shrugging off issues that horses have and label it as misbehavior, a personality trait, or (heaven forbid) the way of the horse. We as humans are responsible for the well-being of the animals in our care. We need to make them feel just as safe around us as we need to feel safe around them. Excuses aren't enough anymore. True solutions are needed.

The closest thing to horses and mules I’ve ever had is goats, so I’m definitely not experienced with equine. But now that I’m in college, I don’t even have my goats anymore. This channel reminds me what I’m doing this for (as an agriculture major). One day I’ll have goats again, and maybe even some mules of my own 😊 Also, my college mascot is “Mule Riders”

@@kepler221 hi, the guys might seem cool, but if you look at the mules here and how they are treated its abusive. They put the animals through unnecessary stress and hardship. They do these to get likes on their video and to be macho. Anyone that respects and cares for animals does not promote this kind of treatment of animals. There is no excuse for it.
Just Me if you are going to say that they put there mules horses calves etc through bad treatment and unnecessary hardships I would like for you to respond to me with a few examples. If you can find just one I will shut you down and tell u how it is either necessary or how it should not be considered abusive.

I watched part of another video where you ran down and roped a baby donkey flipping it, you have cruel and barbaric ways with animals, pulling the calf out of the mud by its neck, please do shut me down, otherwise I shall never cease to stand up for the animals. You have a callous regard for life.
