    it is better with every pic you add the speed , aperture setting so it will be more use full for my type of picture lover

    For me, it's very important to ensure the colour of the lights is captured. So, underexpose accordingly so the lights don't blow out, then bring up (add light to) the shadows/dark areas in post and, if necessary, apply noise reduction.

    Lots of great ideas, thanks! Personally I like the softness one can get with a dark diffusion/black mist type of filter, and it also helps to take down a bit what is probably a very high contrast in the scene.
