precisely... the harms of alcohol are much more widely known whereas 90% of our foods in the supermarket are so dangerous it's not even funny yet marketed as harmless. Let's start with why toxic sugar is added to everything these days. And how about hamburgers and fries with extremely dangerous trans fats? Where is the warning label on that?
@alphaomega1351 well you already know whats bad, you're an idiot if you keep intake of all these cancer food and drinks right🤷♂️ im ok with taxing the shit out of alcohol like cigarettes and weed. Tax process foods too 🤷♂️
I'd be curious to see a study that compares the harmful effects of alcohol to smoking weed, would it be worth it health-wise, switching from booze to weed, to get high.
This might be so they can't blame the jab for rise in cancers. It was known to enter the liver, and liver cancer patients were supposed to have been advised not to get it
What has been left out of this study are the co-morbidities and bad habits of the people who tend to get cancer as a result of excess alcohol consumption. For example, when indoor smoking was initially banned in some states, the adage that: "Smokers drink and drinkers smoke" was used as an argument to keep indoor smoking legal. My contention is that heavy drinkers tend to be unhealthy in other areas. Many heavy drinkers are also heavy smokers and/or they are medically obese and do not exercise regularly. I'm not saying that a physically fit non-smoker who drinks to excess is necessarily healthy, but I have to wonder what this kind of person's cancer risk is, relative to their less physically fit, smoking counterparts. That's something that the Surgeon General hasn't made clear to us in his current report.
Cancer is more than just cigarette smoke and alcohol. It's really sugar overload in your bloodstream. I know you hear sugar and think diabetes. But of course they'll never tell you this.
My mom too died of cancer and never smoked or drank. I'm telling you most is the mind. If your a happy person living a good life your immune system will be top notch.
1-2 drinks a day is MUCH less harmful to you than downing 5 cans of soda a day with pizza and hamburgers which many people are doing. They chose alcohol because it's much more easy to demonize whereas if they put cancer warning labels on your hamburger and french fries there will be an outrage.
On this subject Peter Attia's common sense limits are what I go by. While any amount of alcohol may be a risk, 6-7 drinks a week does not increase risk to a measurable level. Every choice in life balances risk, walking on the road is a risk but that is what we choose to do. Alcohol is an enjoyment that in limited quantities is most definitely fine.
They’ve known this for decades. Just like they knew sugar was the problem not fat. And that fossil fuels accelerate climate change. Whistleblowers are getting braver - that’s what’s changed.
Most people don't know this, actually. Yes, cirrhosis of the liver we know, but most consumers don't know alcohol is CAUSALLY linked to 7 types of cancer. Alcohol is a carcinogen, I don't think most of us are aware of that. I certainly wasn't!
I'm glad they didn't say it was all the highly processed foods with 50 ingredients that I can't pronounce.
Oh, those are perfectly👌fine. I'm eating 😋 some cake 🎂, cookies, and ice cream 🍦 now. 😎
Right. Who even believes all this crap. Ill keep drinking but thanks

Not taking this new fear porn seriously.
No CURES for cancers, etc are my problem.
Besides the Pelosi’s don’t have cancer. 🥃🥃
2:09 WHOA he's WRONG! It has been proven that a glass of any kind of alcohol a day reduces the risk of heart disease! I saw the study.
This is well known. Wtf???
My mom never had alcohol, never smoked and she had renal cancer.

Same fore mine actually
How come doctors dont live longer than their patients?
Wao, is it event a news? We knew it all along, it’s the money! Same for the cigarette 🚬.
I hear this every year after the new year. Not new!
One glass a day? He’s GUESSING! He just said there’s no data showing what is a safe amount!!
That's like arguing how many cigarettes will give me cancer? You've been advised, now it's on you.
I conducted some research. A safe amount is 1 ounce for women and 2 ounces for men.
It's 1 sip for babies 👶 and toddlers 👦. 🤓

I'm glad they didn't say Beer, they had me worried for a second. 😌
NEWSFLASH: BEER IS ALCOHOL
@@aintthatright616 That's the joke.
@@aintthatright616 whooosh!
Sugar diabetes warning anyone?
Cirrhosis of the liver.
Alcohol is also causally linked to mouth cancer, aesophageal cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer & breast cancer, as well as liver cancer obv .
You don't need a liver to live. 🤓
Sadly, InBev, or whatever the megalithic corporation is called now, will not let that happen.
What difference is a label gonna make??....
psychiatric prescriptions -> hyperplasia & cancer?
What a head scratcher.

And next week, they will say something else. What took them so long to finally put this out there?
They’ve known this for decades. Just like they knew sugar was the problem not fat. And that fossil fuels accelerate climate change. Whistleblowers are getting braver - that’s what’s changed.
Watching this while drinking a beer
WHY NOW?
Biofilm -> cancer?
They just want to moralize. Stop pretending.
But all those roundup ready foods are completely safe.
Couldn’t care less 5 pints please 🍺
The Roaring '20s
We been knew this though especially if you abuse it
