Taeil carried this song (and basically all 127 songs) on his back and he gets like 10s screen time in the mvs and the fandom barely care about him. He deserves so much better.
I think Taeil is an enigma. His voice is phenomenal. But doesn't carry himself like the "idol" image that Kpop industry promotes. He's short, undramatic, cute without being gorgeous, quiet, not a great dancer. And he's the oldest. But without his voice I doubt NCT would function. I don't think Haechan and DY could carry it without him. Although I love them both. He's a sneaky bias. Because now I can't take my eyes off him.

Jaehyun is one of the main vocal who does not get a lot of line compared to others. Despite that all, i love how he contributes as the backbone of (almost all) their song, like his part in chorus, his low note, adlibs, etc. Surely he became a main vocal for a reason

For Favorite & Sticker alone, Doyoung got the most lines, also for some their besides on all their albums. Just check some line distribution channel if u want. He even chosen as the main vocalist for some first NCT U units (tendae & boss unit, he even got most lines in BOSS), and i mean at least compare to taeil, or haechan, let’s say another main vocalists of the group, he still had more opportunities to shine as a vocalist, either it inside NCT or outside the brand. He has atleast 6 songs under his name (solo & duet), appear on some variety shows to showcase his vocals and had a bunch of covers on nct channel. He also always on the main NCT U units (tittle tracks) for NCT album since 2018 (boss, make a wish, from home, universe). SM producers also love to have him doing the background vocals for most NCT songs, u can check the credits for 127 & NCT albums. And atleast doyoung usually gets decent screen time compare to taeil, taeil literally always had the least screen time either it on mv or stage performance:(. And little that I know when u are under contract with an agency/label/management, all ur works, either it solo or group must be under the company approval/control tho. It applies that way anywhere. Cause u are under contract. If u did it without their approval then u breaking the contract and could get trouble for that. And i mean no offense at all cause i love doyoung, and all the members. Just trying to share my opinion ✌🏻

And for shotaro & sungchan, i will wait for them to have their fix unit first, especially shotaro, when he were only trained for 3 months before debuted and still not really good at korean so it’s understandable (and he improved so much this year!). Do you know Touch? It's also 127 song with very little rap. It has less rap than Favorite. They really focused so much on vocal there. I like Favorite better tho because their vocals shine so much more and maybe because it's more emotional haha
