Just the most beautiful piece of vocal music around…. It deserves the accolades….Gabriel Faure was a genius…..he wrote this at age nineteen……
My high school performed this during my sophomore year in 2005. I was and still am a Soprano.
a bit slow clocking in at 64 bpm Faure signed it at 74

that's kinda what I like about it, gives you time to appreciate each harmonies. Wouldn't do that every recordings, but it's always cool to have one that does that, kinda like Bohm's Mozart requiem or Richter's Saint Matthew
