Man your consistency in doing these transcriptions is really inspiring. Also, I see you do heel up. Do you find heel up works well in a jazz setting? I tend to go for heel down in jazz and go heel up heavier music.

Yeah I also play heel down while comping and with slower tempo (see the end of the video) but for this solo, as it's fast and with many double, i have a better consistency of precision and dynamics with heel up.
I should work on it heel down too, to get the soft controled sound
