Not so, the Tarot didn't come from Egypt, the part of the Tarot known as the minor arcana came from there then to Europe, in 1306 there's the first mention of card games, it got to Italy 70 years later? Where somewhere along the line it was put together with the major arcana taken from the 7 virtues, & various Christianised Greco-Roman mythology. Excellent program.

That's... a lot of cards. Enjoyed the deck history, and any reference to the greatest tragedy of human history; The Burning of The Library of Alexandria. If I could choose just one destination in time. Nice work.

11:30 But joker cards weren’t added to decks until the mid-1800s. The random stuff you learn by being a comic book fan! 🤓🃏🦇

Knowing the number of days in a year was supposed to be some special/secret knowledge? I find it hard to believe that medieval people were that clueless. Especially the farmars had pretty solid knowledge of the cycles of nature by necessity…

I play hearts a lot on my computer. Easily over 200k times. I was wondering if I was beginning to gain some memory or ability to catch patterns and what not. That's why I'm here. But a good history lesson.

Had to stop at 0:47 to recover from that fridge & the neatest, most eclectic junk drawer I've seen. LOLed to tears. Even my had to laugh. You get a like at 0:47... don't let me down.
