As referenced in another comment, please make a video on “Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein”. As my “Horror Story” professor said, horror and comedy are two sides of the same coin. I would love to see your take on this hilarious film. On a different note, you have the best closing credits on TH-cam! I have to rewatch many of your videos to view them. Keep up the great work!!
I like the takes you have on the movie. It's interesting it was a box office success despite being released two days after Pearl Harbor. I know box office failures of some films are attributed to unfortunate outside events.
I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed your reviews over the past year or so since I've started watching your videos. I was wondering if you think the film "The Monolith Monsters" would be worth covering here. I hope you have that film on your to-do list. 🙂
The Werewolf of Paris was adapted as The Curse of The Werewolf by Hammer in 1961 (it's coincidentally also the only werewolf movie the studio ever made because it underperformed at the box office). The story was transposed from France to Spain to take advantage of sets that had been built for a cancelled movie about the Spanish Inquisition (insert your own Monty Python joke here).
Nice to see some love for this classic old movie.
Larry Talbot "In a half an hour the moon will rise and I'll turn into a wolf!"
Wilbur Grey "You and 20 million other guys!" 😝
Yep, during the movie with Abbott and Costello. It would have been nice if there was a serious picture where Talbot's friend said Buds line to him.

Even in that comedy, Chaney brought such anguish and empathy to the character it really makes me rank him as best UHM monster actir

No one could portray anguish like Chaney.
Quite true.

It's on my list!
