I’m thinking perhaps there’s a way to monitor all traffic leaving the on prem firewall and hitting the public peering that’s configured on ExpressRoute somehow
We are in a bit of a pickle, as Public Peering is EOL this month and trying to determine what traffic is still leveraging public peering and what we can do to mitigate
Hi, I'm interested in being able to use MS-Peering on ER simply to maintain the experience for my Enterprise customers using O365/public SaaS products/etc via me. Related to the idea that public internet peering is shared/non-QoS etc. Is MS-Peering on ER a 'better' internet path to MS/Azure services - accepting that my aggregating network is 'better-than-internet'. What am I missing - eg your comments around MS-Peering on ER bypassing the MS-Edge network. What are the material downsides (aside from the normal network config/control).
Hi Denis, please let me know which bits about RF are not clear from the doc and that will help steer a video, thanks. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/expressroute/how-to-routefilter-portal
If you needed to identify all traffic going via public peering across ExpressRoute (red line), is there a way to do so?
learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/expressroute/traffic-collector ER Direct only today
Ah bummer. We don’t have ER direct unfortunately. I’m guessing there’s no other way?

Hi Peter, hard to capture the required response in a comment, I would start here aka.ms/expressrouteoffice365
thank you for the video, could you make another video to explain route filters better?
