From Brett: Hey all! Seen a couple of folks inquire why edited videos are sometimes uploaded faster then full vods. I'd like to provide some insight. First off, Gnome has an INCREDIBLE work ethic that you do not see with most communities. It is Gnome's passion that allows you to see some edited videos up within 24 hours - from their own wonderful editing skill and capability. Second, this isn't a fact of not wanting something uploaded faster - it is a youtube processing issue. While I would love to press a button and have a vod immediately be available for YT - I still have to go through TH-cam's processing - otherwise videos will go live without being HD. Unless you want crusty vods, we have to wait for YT to finish processing video - and that depends on video length. A 30 minute video will process faster then a 4-5 hour stream. Uploads happen after the stream is complete. Processing - unfortunately and often - is not complete upon our live time the next day, which is 12pm EST. I could always push the time to be later - but that means you'd be seeing vods go live during stream time. I would rather you guys have something to watch during the afternoon, and then head into a Tomato stream later on - or in this case - watch a VOD, watch an edited highlight, and then watch a Tomato stream. As for more recent VODs this week, we will be having a 3 day buffer because I am out of town for a charity event - and I'm still doing my best to make sure you guys are still getting VODs even though I am out of state and in a hotel. We will get back to the 2 day buffer, but please understand that is why there is an additional day wait this week. Hope this clears up some confusion. Thanks for reading.
I have been watching your VODs for years now. I play them a lot in the background unless its a team game like this. It's pleasant to see abridged versions of everything. I hope this channel does well for you.
