Interest rates has been historically low so we basically got a loan for less than inflation. It's a great time to buy into the market but competition was stiff. Real estate, construction, and lending industries have been completely slammed since this pandemic and I feel grateful and lucky to be able to find and score on our dream home 🥰🏡

What you may have experienced is a term called bait and switch. You may see a spectacular home build with all the upgrades, fully furnished by a designer, and so of course that intrigues you to want to sign with the builder. Then, you don't get to choose upgrades what you might have seen. Of course the sales team is more sensational because they probably work on commission. Their goal is to get you on board. Should you really have to do the upgrades yourself? Your yard, your bathroom and so on?

Haha the house itself looks great but my furnishing and mess maybe not so much :-P I still have some blank walls to fill and sure, I'll consider making a full home tour when I finally finish decorating. It takes a lot of work to make a house a proper home! Lol
