Somewhere in the Eastern Cape, my family friend's child was threatened by someone with a gun, the police were called, they asked if anyone has been shot yet, they said no, but this person is threatening people and has a gun and he says he is going to shoot someone. Several calls were made to the police but they never came. It would have taken them less than 10 min to arrive there but they never showed up. 2 hrs later the younger son of my family friend was shot dead. This happened on a Thursday,. By Monday the ff week the culprit was still on the run. Somebody died needlessly for something that could have been stopped by police. That is the life people have to live in South Africa.
