Oh I know. It just seemed like Laura was frightened in front of the reporters..and Scottie's parents..when she and Luke first came back..and she didn't know what to say. So..she said what would make all of them ask the least amount of questions and leave her..and Luke alone. It seemed that she just wanted them to back off at that time. I also believe that Laura wanted Scottie to hear that she wanted a divorce from her..and not hear it on the news. I think Luke read way too much into what Laura said..and responded quite babyishly..like he had been deeply and horribly betrayed. I believe that Laura spoke quickly and off the top of her head..in order to shut everyone up..and I felt that Luke should have known Laura enough by then..to understand why she did what she did. He is being very stubborn.
@@lisah9709 Oh I so agree with you. He allowed his sister and Ruby to grab him and separate him from Laura. She warned him so many times that she couldn't face the reporters. I really don't understand why Lee and Gail were allowed in the room at all. They should have not been there.
@lisacarman167 I think this "error" of Laura's and how Luke responds is so cockamamie! It's a ridiculous pivot by the writers that just doesn't ring true to the amazing and intelligent characters they've created. Luke is far too emotionally intelligent to act the way he does after this incident, even considering his insecurities. They have just been through a war like situation with each other and are incredibly bonded. It doesn't make sense that this frivolous event would tear them apart for 6 months..!! 🧐🤨

Hutch escaped and was hiding at Kelly's diner. Rose hid him for a while and then he disappeared into the sunset. Rose was crazy about him. I wonder if he hid that gold bars he had , went back for them and lived his life . I hope he did, but he did get away.

I seen an older interview of TG and GF on Oprah and he spoke about how they were much more than just going to bed together.
As I recall Hutch escaped from prison and Rose Kelly was hiding him and ended up having a fling with him also.
