Those Red October Tubes are insane! I have only started fishing them this year and they have caught pretty much all big Northerns in Belgium. Amazing baits and so versatile, depending on the rigs you use for them. I’m surprised how few people here know about them! Trying to change that 😉
I’m a new subscriber and I love the little tikes easel on the breakdown. I’ve had that happen with the reel. When you tried to open it and it was pulling drag it gets stuck in like a 1/2 open position. If you could have clicked it open again it would’ve re-engaged. Reel is probably fine.

You def can't give up when you lose one up there especially, the first fish I had hooked on our trip was a 50in class fish that unfortunately got off after fighting her for about 5 seconds and seeing her. I was gutted genuinely felt like calling it a night since it was the last spot as it was. It took 3 casts after that and I caught my first Canadian musky and I was genuinely just as happy to catch a 42.5 than I would've been to catch the first big fish. It's wild what these fish can do to you
