    I love this game. I'd been trying to get good at tennis for years but found it way too challenging and physically demanding if you didn't learn it when you were a kid. But I was able to pick up pickleball in just a few weeks and it's such a fun little game!

    The frustration is real. It’s fun to watch how the favorites handle the stress & pressure of coming out on top once again!!!

    Hey PPA! Whomever you’re hiring to edit these videos…do they actually play pickleball? They cut off a few seconds when there’s a challenge of an out call at the end of a game. What’s a few more seconds or another minute? And where’s the trophy award at the end? What the heck.

      Probably because of the most outrageous decision the reffs made on the final point of the 4th match in favour of the johns bros, if i was them i would cut it too.. you can hear commentators mention it at 1:13:50 after the challenge in game 5

      Dylan and JW should have challenged Ben’s out call (second last rally of the game. It looked in on replay.

    Great match. Most backhand dinks I've seen Collin be forced to hit in a match. Possible adjustment for Frazier - when he slides middle in dink rallies, he goes wide cross to Collin 100% - may want to try varying that some just to show it or change pattern. Lob enough to be annoying - they did less in later games. The two teams that have beaten them this year have misdirection in their games. Gotta find a way to be disruptive to patterns the Johns bros want to be in.

    • @chea7z913
      @chea7z913 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and no. You definitely don't want johns in their rhythm, that goes for anyone in any sport. But you also need to be able to keep up at the very least because it's not just their rhythm that's beating everyone, it's the best strategy. Minimum errors and consistency are doing the bulk of the work. However... Johns rarely try to set up points for an attack. This is where the misdirection and methodical attacking will eclipse their passive consistency. It's not that no one can do this, it's that no one is good enough in both areas

    Why are the women’s doubles matches so much more exciting? Non stop action with the women.

    • @Lethologican
      @Lethologican ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The small court makes an incredible defender's advantage for men at the very highest level. The court is effectively bigger for women (less reach, slower shots, slower hands), so it's easier to move players out of position, more hard drives are in, lower balls are more attackable, and so on. It honestly suits the women's game better. (And anywhere below the highest level, the men's game opens up too, since defenses are less polished.)
