- Hotpoint condenser drier F06 error.
This drier is kept in my garage. During the winter months if the temperature gets below 0 Celcius or there abouts the F06 error appears. I found that the use of a hair drier for a couple of minutes as shown removes the error code. The dryer is fine the rest of the year.
Worked a treat thanks, was a cold day and ours flung up the same errors - also located in a garage.

I did this, also did the thing where you turn the knob and press start 3 times and reset the button on the back behind the panel all worked for 30 seconds and then the code is showing up again! Any suggestions? Ive only had the dryer for 2 weeks😭
Wish I could help but the good thing is its still under warranty and it sounds as if it has a genuine manufacturing defect. Assuming you have bought it from new it wants returning

On* as I have just got it didn’t want to use the hair dryer just in case it broke
