When this movie was released in KOLKATA at Navina cinema Hall of Tollygunge I went to watch this movie on Monday or Tuesday. There were crowd but not so much but from Wednesday or Thursday this movie began to pull crowd. This movie ten weeks ran houseful constantly again I went to watch the movie with my sister and her friend then still houseful. Let me tell about the price of tickets. The lowest Price was only 75 paise. Really 75paise only. When I went alone then I stood in queue and bought the ticket of 75 paise but when I went with my sister and her friend then I bough tickets at price of Rs. 5/ per ticket for Balcony. Really so. There were tickets of 2.50 and 3.50 4.50 etc. The generations of today will be surprised to know this. However the acting of respectable late Om Shivpuri respected Satyen Kapoo and respected Iftekar and Pran are superly excellent. Zeenat Aman nicely excellent. Helen ji exceptionally nice. The music by Kalyan ji Anand ji is absolutely fantastic. Songs of Kishore Kumar Lata Mangesgkar and ASHA Bhonsle evergreen and time conquering and lyrics by respected Anjan are lifeful and vital. Above all The director Chandra Barrot gave us a greatly dynamic movie at that time with great story. Above all my respects and regards to late Cinematographer and Producer of DON Nariman ji. 28/5/21/.
