Dude that's wild!!! Great job of covering everything you did. I had flashbacks of Igor watching this! On the plus side of it all at least it was all material and nobody was hurt.
Definitely felt like Igor for a minute. Not a ton of warning either so a lot of people were caught off guard. Feels like every storm we gets comes with a flood warning so it felt like a surprise that there was actually flooding on the coast. Thankfully the roads held up - Igor was so brutal because nobody could go anywhere or really fix anything for so long after.
I'm originally from Quebec and moved to Glovertown on the Alexander Bay 3 years ago and that very strong wind coupled with the high tide did quite a mess around here. I've been told they haven't seen something like that for over 40 years. Good job love your video.
That's pretty brutal, Norm...yeah, the sea don't care about feelings, eh? It is sad to see the roof tops crashing about doing more damage and knowing ppl lost their shanties. You Newfoundlanders are tough and will come together and rebuild. I'm sure the storm surge will have you finding new relics on the shoreline soon...
Great video buddy thanks for sharing stay safe
Very glad you are okay Buddy Norm! Material things can be replaced stay well!
Same storm hit here in PEI also with days of snow and ten below. Looks so warm there.

How high did the sea rise. In St. John’s I saw video of it being level with the harbour road.

We had strong winds and rain. The lights flickered. That’s it!
