I was at UNI of PNG and was to present a paper on PNG sustainable development at the Waigani Seminar in 1993. I was a Post Graduate Diploma in Science student then. Professor Huge Davies the Head of Geology who encouraged me to study Mineral Economics approved my abstract and so he directed for me to be sent to sit in the panel. I was younger at age 27 then. In my time in Port Moresby, I used to see Sean Dorney reporting on PNG National affairs for the ABC. Further, I know when he reports, it's to me of international significance and importance. So when he showed up to report on me sitting in the panel of the discussions on PNG sustainable development seminar at the 1993 Waigani Seminar at University of Papua New Guinea, that makes me see and feel important, when he pointed his camera on me to record and report to the world before the àdvent of social media of my participation in the Waigani Seminar as a Post Graduate student. Thank you Professor Huge Davies of Geology Department of University of PNG and Sir Sean Dorney of ABC - Australia. Paul Kamakande. BSc PGDSci PGCMaths Government Consultant. Department of PM & NEC
