Girl I eloped and I’m glad I did. Weddings are more for everyone else. You could still get gorgeous at a beautiful location and have an elopement photographer. Look up elopement photo shoots they’re soooo romantic. I 10/10 reccomend.
Eloping is such an amazing idea then have a reception with close family and friends afterwards. Would make the wedding more personal to you as a couple! Think that can be lost sometimes ♥️💫
My Fiancé and I are eloping! We realized the wedding was more about pleasing family and agreed we would both spend all day worrying if family members were arguing or having a good time, versus focusing on ourselves and our special day. You're right, it is definitely more romantic and intimate to have a private ceremony!
I had 8 people TOTAL at my wedding. It was essentially a planned elopement at a small church. Me, him, his parents, my parents, a preacher, and a photographer. Your wedding should be YOUR wedding 💒

Having an intimate ceremony and then a party afterwards is super common I think! Receptions are so much easier to plan from my experience. Especially if you allow someone to just take the reigns like a wedding coordinator.
I had a small ceremony with parents, grandparents, and siblings! Later that evening we did a reception with everyone else. We LOVED it so much it was the perfect day ❤️ do what makes you happy Gabi! Love you guys

My husband and I eloped and we LOVED it❤ we went on a helicopter ride up a mountain in Canada and had the ceremony in the clouds with just our wedding planner, officiator, photographer and mountain guide. It was magical. While our family and friends were mostly upset about this decision at first they later came to accept and respect our decision because it was what made us happy
