@@DougAraujo This was no lie the only thing I listened to in my car from like June-Aug of '23. There is just so much density I just wasn't ready to put it down for that long. I'd even been listening to a couple of the songs as singles for a few months prior (President & Abyss), but there is just SO MUCH GOOD here.
so glad you covered this album. Knower/Louis Cole/Genevieve Artadi are personal faves of mine, and this record is pretty hyped considering their last LP as Knower came out in 2016. also to note, all the sax parts were played by the Clown Core sax player (Sam Gendel), except for the part in Crash The Car (played by David Binney). also, considering you enjoyed Clown Core and Knower, i really hope to see your reaction to a Louis Cole solo record someday (especially Time from 2018). *cough* plz Tepyr *cough*
yeah it's been my favorite song for a good bit, not just from knower or lc/ga, but just in general. it scratched an itch for some reason don't know why.
I has kind of a Super Tramp feel. Love this album and the band! Glad I saw them before they cancelled the rest of their tour. Feel better folks!!!!💖❤🔥
Thanks for laying down the full album. I caught some of the video versions of these tunes yesterday and they were great to watch. I get it... she's telling the nightmare not to wake her up, she just wants to dream : )
I love the fact that Genevieve's new album is caller Forever Forever, you should definitely give it a listen! It was unreal seeing Louis and Genevieve live wearing skeleton costumes
If you want the same feel and arrangements with a bit more of a dance edge, I HIGHLY recommend Louis Cole’s “Time”. He’s the drummer on every Knower and Clown Core record and also the main musical brain behind things. One of my fav records of the 2010’s and my album of the year for 2018
Lovely reaction to a wonderful experience of an album. Definitely check the live performance videos of these songs on the KNOWER channel (you probably already have by this point). As an extra recommendation, the bass player featured on "It's All Nothing..." and previous KNOWER songs - Sam Wilkes - has his own music; "Tonight" is a smooth and chill track that features, funnily enough, Louis Cole and Sam Gendel.
Album of the year for me! Glad you liked it and appreciate all the musical intricacies.
So complex, I really enjoyed it

And to top it off they are so down to earth modest lovely people trust me I know .glad people are finally catching up ❤
I feel the magic every time I watch and hear Knower.

Wait till you see the music videos! Glad you liked it!
Bass in The Abyss is MonoNeon. This album is perfection.
Yep Louis Cole, the drummer is also playing in clown core. 10/10 album
Great reaction! Ride That Dolphin really grows on you, the songwriting on it is phenomenal
He missed the best moment talking about yachty 😑

Good to see my fellow Ride that Dolphin stans

It’s cliche but this album is nothing short of a masterpiece. Glad you reacted to it
It’s just so INTERESTING you know? So engaging all the way through
Just did a review on this and this album slaps so hard

Album on repeat for me.

Genevieve's album is even better which is unbelievable
Best album I:ve ever heard since Aja by Steely Dan
Massive banger

42:13 "lighters in the air everyone" exactly the visuals i imagine
This sounds as the same drummer of Clowncore 😂
Kinda different not seeing the inside of some guy's house at the same time
Yeah, you gotta check the video!
Now listen to their other albums :)
No one really knows who the clown core guys are, but yeah some speculate it is Louis Cole and Sam Gendel of Knower. 🤡
We know.
The government knows
personally im the president, even if it is the msot viewed track, was one of the weaker ones for me in the album. Other tracks are all great
