I can't even tell you how much I appreciate this video. I never realized how vast these mountains are, the close-ups you provided are amazing. Thank you again!
I live right down there in Hamilton, and I knew it was one of the largest wilderness's in the US, but that was actually insane to look at. I never expected it to be that rugged and massive. Awesome video!
Menudas crestas tienen estas montañas. El paisaje es precioso, no me extraña que estuviera en tu lista de cosas por hacer....Por cierto, no he visto lugares para un posible aterrizaje de emergencia......
G'Day Tom Awesome scenery , great music , and that rear facing camera is a nice change. I have watched every video you have published , some many times over and look forward to many more .
Очень красивая природа! Вы сумасшедший пилот, здесь же нет места для посадки при отказе мотора. Very beautiful nature! You are a crazy pilot, there is no place to land in case of engine failure.
Alright, you did it--made me want to get back into the high Sierras in my machine! Trouble is, my machine is down, awaiting a re-build on the 2,425-hr gearbox. I should be airborne just in time for Burning Man!
4 years past you complimented Christian Sturm on his ' A Playful Day on the Palouse' video... fast forward and the soundtracks for both 'Playful' and 'Flying the Knife Edge' are the haunting music of Sine's 'Flying'...pretty cool...
I didn't think anyone would catch me stealing Christians soundtrack - but YOU DID! It'll be our little secret? That is a perfect song for dramatic mountains, or in Christians case - subdued and eerie Palouse flying. BTW - I just made that run that CS video'd about a week ago in my new SportCruiser. What's a SportCruiser you say? Well ... you'll have to do a search on youtube of course!! ; D
Knife edges is an understatement! How did those mountains get so narrow? As always, another signature piece bith visual and choice of audio. (I still go back and watch Fields of Dreams though.)
I just wanted to say that these vids are absolutely awesome. Im not really sure where your home base is but you seem to take off from Missoula a lot. Have you ever gone over the Lolo pass and followed the river all the way down to Lewiston ID. ? Orofino is my home base.

We miss your flying works of art. We also know it's a lot of work editing the videos and you have other responsibilities . But, you take a lot of faithful followers places to see the awesome splendor of this world that we will never see in person. Get that passion again.
Still have the passion - not the weather. I bought a SportCruiser last year and have been flying that this winter. I need to get some cameras mounted on that thing. Look it up on youtube SportCruiser- it's a cool airplane!!! My trike was stowed in a hangar in the Clearwater Mountains of ID. The runway today is still mostly under snow. It'll be another month before I'm back in the air. Anyway - our fly-in this year is Jul 13 - 20 at Joseph OR. We'll have Hell's Canyon and Eagle Cap wilderness to play around in. I'll get the vids working again especially for that one!!!! Look up Joseph OR and check out what's all around there. T
