It's fun. I miss this country. I left Laos when I was about 10 yrs old. I wish one day I'll be able to go back. Thanks for sharing.

Seriously, the US kids should have went with their parents to experience this trip. Reminds me so much of back in the days when I went with my parents. Time does not change much in Laos. Ten years does not change much at all. I miss Laos even though I'm borned in America. I love this video! Very real.

Thank you for such a beautiful video. Even though I do not know anyone in this video, because I am also Hmong I feel these are all my relatives as well. Such a beautiful and touching video.

This is very good idea. You can live anywhere but what makes you strong is your pride of your roots.

Nice video. I was working for more than 20 years with Hmong and Lao people and sure enough there was some jerks, but the majority were so nice and friendly people.
At first I hate their "smelly" food but lately I just love it and till these days I do not work with them anymore I still cook sticky rice and laab.

This is sad. They cried because everyone parted during war. Not an easy vacation. It is a life time visit. I hope to go back and visit where I was born.

Because they were born there. And I do not think this is a dirty country, just poor, but not dirty and that is different.
