Turning some apple wood into a couple of pencil holders. When turning the second one, I needed to change the design when the skew decided to run away from me.
Nice work mate! Doing them dots like you did on the first one gives a nice effect. Seen it before. But I think it is too much of a hassle to get the dots all in the right spot. Couldn't do it!
Nice job Greg, and a great recovery on the second one. They look great! Bruce/🇨🇦
Great looking pieces Greg, they will be handy. Skews have a mind of their own mate, sucks when it happens too.
Keep on turning.
Cheers, Bluey 👍
Thanks Bluey. Stay safe

I'm enjoying your work Greg, all the best to you. I just subscribed.
Thanks John. When I am at the lathe, I forget about the problems of the day and enjoy the moment.
@@GregStute I'm the same, you get wrapped up in the piece and peace comes lol.

Thanks Leo. Keep warm
How about making pencil holder out of pencils
Thank Daemon. Great idea. Might get expensive as I tend to make plenty of mistakes
The mistake are how we learn well in my case anyway
