Thanks chi Leyna, My husband currently has about $1million in his IRA. When he reaches 59.5, we will want to see you for sure to put about half into iul. We did some research and like the tax free loan that life insurance offer. We also like iul, some offer free rider for long term care. iul offer death benefit. living benefit, long term care. peace of mind to complement with our stock investment strategy. We like high risk high reward stocks...like Tesla, and some other biotech small cap we got our eyes on...
Well, “waiting” to get an IUL never makes sense, unless you grow younger. :). Don’t forget you miss out on compounded interest-time is your friend and enemy.
@@LeynaNguyenhere I got what you mean in investment portfolio return... In viet Nam, red capitalism know that already and that why they teach investors to put their money into real estate to gain higher return. It's ridiculous for naive investors with endless greed to follow their advice in investment. All the traps for mouse have cheese.. I viet Nam, we name it LUA GA
Chi Leyna oi. Khong biet em suy nghi vay co dung khong. ? I think iul is much better than Roth once cash value bigger than death benefit. For example, if I have $1 million in cash value and I invest in index SP 500 iul for 10 years, and it is conservatively, I should double and should have $2 million . If I invest the same $1 million in SP 500 in Roth and even I got better in rate of percentage return and in 10 years, for example, I got $2.1 million. But let say, all of sudden my daughter needs to buy a home, if I would BORROW from iul $1 million tax free, I still technically have $2 million invest in index iul. However, with a Roth, I have to WITHDRAW $1 million tax free, but now I only have $1.1 million invested in SP 500. So 10 more years later for example, if the rate return about the same as the same as pass 10 years, my cash value grow to $4 million (but actually value only $3 million if subtract from $1 million loan).. Meam while my Roth, I may only have may be $2.2 million. So $3 million iul is much bigger than roth $2.2 million in 20 years. And what really crazy is if another 10 more years, or 30 years later, my iul cash value should be $8 million, meanwhile, my roth, maybe only $4.6 million. If I die, my beneficary should collect $7 million TAX FREE , much bigger than $4.6 if I have leave in the Roth.
You are like many other investors in Viet Nam wishing to gain highest return on each investment portfolio. A country with high inflation always ends up with high return in nominal value...that's a trick viet Nam want to appeal foreigner currencies into viet Nam to help grow rapidly but we missed one thing that vnd is at the bottem of weak currency world-wide. Viet Nam print alot of money to show the "true lie" high return for investment in bonds, stocks, real estate to gain foreign capital. Viet Nam accepts high inflation but foreign capital is vital to the survival OF viet cong... You know that only the poor become poorer due to this...
