I just got mine out of the shop with brand new transmission, TRD lsd, short shifter, bushings. Built motor, then a turbo in a year after everything else. Car is a beast getting Michelin Pilot 4S All Season on Tuesday.
@2zzgte_Jan she is, wouldn't trade for anything. What other engine is gonna run like a precision watch at 250K miles, zero issues running all the way to redline, all day long? 2ZZs are monsters.
What are you using to reduce car noise? I've been isolating vocals from soundtracks using ultimate vocal remover. I've been using ensemble mode to combine these two models, MDX-Net: Kim Vocal 1 and a VR_ARC: 3_HP-Vocal-UVR, and i'm getting pretty high quality vocal isolations, maybe like ~90-100% of the audio is clear. I dunno if it could isolate engine noise just as well, but i don't see why not. Cheers tho , glad to see people building these cars. Got a 2004 matrix xrs and been wanting to put a fast spooling turbo cuz i've been also thinking bout getting an aluminum boat lmao n need something to tow it.
Fuel tech is out of the question if it was a race car yeah but I’m going to be daily driving this for a bit was thinking something more like hondata or hptunes like my brothers cobalt ss has so obd still registers I looked hp don’t list the corolla
@@single_cam9199look up R9K 2zz ecu reflash, only the corolla and matrix xrs ecu can be reflashed, it’s like $500, and you’re ecu has to have a certain code on the back, if you have a celica you can’t get the ecu reflashed they’re locked and you’re forced to get a $1500-$2000 ecu.
@2ZZJAN I also have a XRS turbo. I started with a reflash ecu with the subaru maf and 550cc injectors then changed it to fueltech 550 RK9 tuned sold me.

What ecu for these that’s like hondata picking my first 2zz up today
They sell various ecus like APEX,Fuel tech and other ones just depends on how much you are willing to spend

We had put on the stock ecu and we had a 3inch intake not a 2.75inch intake
