Wow,I can't believe it. You'll never guess what I'm wearing right now.. yep that very same watch. Its a cracking watch, especially for the price looks far more expensive than it is. I've also got the black vintage looking one as well, another cracking watch. Was out last night with it on and people couldn't believe the low price of it. I've bought these watches primarily because I'm considering a big purchase, a sort of grail watch so I thought I'd try these just to get the feel and see about the looks. Well I might or might not get the grail, but I'm enjoying these watches immensly. Thanks again James.
Just got my PD Daytona Homage. I was mildly surprised and how nice and comfortable it is. Fit and finish is similar to Timex but I’d say closer to some Citizen’s I own.
I’ve just had a friend buy the Tudor chrono homage from them after he was about to spend a lot more on another watch. He is so happy with it. I’ll try and borrow it to feature later on the channel.
Hi James, this watch does look like an absolute bargain. I've bought 6 pagani design watches over the last 12 months and I think they are upping their game. The latest watch was a datejust homage PD 1645 my 17y son wanted. Although this watch on a jubilee is a bit bling for myself is was really impressed with the quality, especially the clasp!!
I bought one of these on a whim.....and its shockingly good, really. A great daily beater that looks a treat and you wont cry if it gets dinged.... And the lume is blue as well!!
I own about 12 Pagani Design watches. I have not had a dud, they all are good watches. My only consistent complaint is their lume, which is absolutely atrocious. Their AR could be better, sometimes, but in general I am more than happy with my PD watches.
Thanks for the video. I can never knock PD for their watches at their pricing. If bought at a sale, most are ridiculous bargains. Cheers from Atlantic Canada!!!
I’m the same. I need movement in the dial. Being quartz I’m happy running the chrono on this one but it is a shame it does not have a running second hand.
My best Pagani is the batman colorway of the GMT Master 2 homage with the nh34 movement. Surprisingly, the lume is decent. Second favorite is a white panda Daytona homage with the Seiko VK movement. These are the only Paganis I have kept.
It certainly is a good looking watch and price. Same for my V3 PD-1701 on a black racing strap which does get wrist time. For me Pagani, the only minor change, keep the applied logo and drop the name (goes for other models too). Regards James
I received mine last week and it's going right back. The bezel is pretty badly misaligned (I now see yours is slightly misaligned CCW), and I didn't particularly like how square the top of the bezel is (I wish it slanted downward to not be so thick on the sides)
Nobody has a right to complain about any of the Small bs they might find with these watches but for the money I don’t think you can get more from any other brand I bought a couple a year or two ago because I wanted to see how I liked the shape and size to test out before I bought the real deal and it shocked me how well made and the materials used for around $100 your getting a reliable automatic seiko automatic or quartz except the skeleton I bought came with a Chinese 4hz 28,800vph movement which has been pretty accurate and has a 3 day power reserve they have solid screw links sapphire and ceramic and screw down crowns and milled clasps the finishing is absolutely acceptable for the price I suppose some models are worse than others but the few I have everything lines up they are accurate and robust those seiko movements are made to last great beater watch or test drive watch before you go out and spend thousands on the real deal or somebody just starting out pagani is solid as well as San Martin and a few others you just aren’t going to find those features and 100-300m water resistance at that price I’ve been collecting watches a long time and have owned a lot of different brands from $50 casios to Rolex, GS, And omega
My camera picks up the smallest dust particles on top of the crystal. I do my best to clean the watch before filming and can not see the dust. However the camera picks up things I can’t see.
well, its $66.50 AUD for the June 2024 sale….thats less than a carton of craft beer in oz, and I can 100% say, the watch will last much longer than said carton of craft beer..
@@WATCHingJames I agree, but I really can't think of a rational reason. If I need to time in seconds the Chrono hand is there. And how often do you need to know the time to the second.
The best paganis you can buy like this have the seiko vk63 movement in them, and no rotating bezels as they are hit and miss. This is really nice, love my paganis
The great thing with the Seiko VK64 is it's a hybrid so it's actually half mechanical !
Thanks for WATCHing

I’m still really impressed by it. That blue dial is mesmerising
The dial. Wow the dial

The one I have is awesome. And its BETTER than a couple Citizens I own....lol

They are definitely getting better. I’m excited to see what other new watches they release this year

And the lume is blue as well!!
I had that same shock. I thought I knew what a PD would be like. But this one certainly exceeded my expectations
I bought this one James last year. But I went for the dark, textured dial. I wore it a couple of days ago. Unbelievable value for sure! 👍🏼😎
I really like that version too. Great to hear you are enjoying it.

Great review James. PD has certainly come a long way. The value for money they offer is hard to beat.
I’m still surprised how much better it is than my last PD.
Hopefully they keep their pricing low.
When PD gets it right, it does so at an unbeatable price. Their quartz chronographs are usually of good quality. Thanks for the review.
It is surprising they can make a watch this good at this price.
Thanks for the video. I can never knock PD for their watches at their pricing. If bought at a sale, most are ridiculous bargains. Cheers from Atlantic Canada!!!
It still surprises me how good this one is. And then I consider the price. Wow. How do they do it.
It looks nice but no running seconds hand is a no-go for me. Solid review! 😊
I’m the same. I need movement in the dial.

Thanks for pointing this one out!
Thanks for WATCHing
It looks like Pagani are raising their game, thanks for the review James 👍🏽
It certainly seems so. I’m interested to see more of their newer options.
That's a great looking watch. Crazy for the price!
It is incredible that they can be bought at this price
Pagani Design made a cracking watch for the price. i love how they polish the edges
A lot of value and also just nice watches.
I absolutely agree. I am wearing the PD 1717 in white right now. Insane price to quality ratio
I’m really impressed with it
I have the vintage style on the brown strap .
It's quite gorgeous IMO .
Very 57 esque
I was so impressed by this one. The quality and in particular that blue dial.
Love the sunburst
It is so much nicer than I expected. A real stand out.
It certainly is a good looking watch and price. Same for my V3 PD-1701 on a black racing strap which does get wrist time. For me Pagani, the only minor change, keep the applied logo and drop the name (goes for other models too). Regards James
I do prefer the logo too.

That’s a shame to hear.
PD has the value Quartz Chrono AliExpress watch market cornered. Especially their Omega Homages. Thanks!
I’m still in a bit of shock with how good this one is.
Pagani has really improved the past couple years, but yeah the butterfly clasps are joy stealing.
I’m still impressed by how good this one is.
I LIKE IT!! BLUE 💙
It is an amazing blue
Very tempting!
I’m still in a bit of shock with how nice this one actually is
Nice watch… I just wish they’d offer a version with just the logo and not have the name written across the dial.
Thanks for WATCHing

Mine has green hands and blue indices on the lume front. It wasn’t on the bracelet mind you.
Thanks for WATCHing
I wish you would've opened the watch to look at the movement.
That would have been interesting. Thanks for WATCHing
Makes the Moonswatch look expensive. Nice watch, great video. 👍
It certainly does.
I got hands on with a moonswatch a few weeks ago. It was actually better than I expected.
However still not as good as this PD.
Bought Mission on Earth while on holiday in Edinburgh. Wore it once, didn't like it.
It is a nice looking watch, but does it have a "regular" second hand?
No. Only when running the chronograph.
i have the OG black dial one. just love it.
It is so impressive. Especially at this price
How is battay life
@@rush2999 haven't had to replace it yet.
I would love PAGANI to use Automatic movements…
They do. Just not in this model. Check out their others which are generally Seiko NH35 powered.
Hello. Do you maybe know dial diameter of this watch? Thanks in advance! 😊
Sorry no. I did not think to measure that.
Given it's a quartz watch i wish the case thickness was more slim
Thanks for WATCHing
is that dust inside the dial?
My camera picks up the smallest dust particles on top of the crystal.

Hahahahaha. For me too.
Can you live withour a running second hand?
I can’t. It really is the one big thing that has been jumping out at me.
Being quartz I don’t mind running the chrono hand. But it’s not the same.
@@WATCHingJames I agree, but I really can't think of a rational reason. If I need to time in seconds the Chrono hand is there. And how often do you need to know the time to the second.
👍
👍
Their watches are crap on quality finishing and in every shot the Stop watch hand doesn't even line up centrally. Good job it was free eh.
Says you
Your not buying it then by the sound of it😂
This one is actually really well finished and has really surprised me.
And that is before I even consider how affordable it is.
@@WATCHingJamesPD quality lately is very good. Cadisen and Addiesdive are really well finished too.
