I appreciate the great video bro ‼️. Can you do a video on some upgrades and or materials and we should get to have an easier time with the machine. I’ve seen people tell me to get Tajima springs when I get one.
@@pricejohnson872 I didn’t mention that but I did get the Tajima springs and changed all of them. I can do a video on that in the future. I kept the original springs for over a year and never had to much issues. But the quality of the Tajima springs is clearly better.
Is logo size a factor ? For example I can do 2.5 inches on my Japanese machine but on the mirror I can only do 2.2 2-3 inches but I heard the vision may have a lower profile arm / needle plate and can do bigger logos than say the mirror
Thanks for the info. How is the parts availability for these? I have 29yrs in the embroidery industry and don’t have a problem taking care of my own repairs if needed. I’ve been contemplating a v22 but what worries me is that if something goes wrong I won’t be able to get what’s needed to get back up and running.
How is the sound quality between both of them and I’ve been seeing that it’s very difficult for tension in the fact that what drug do you use are using my embroidery thread or are you using Madera or I support or even Kendall thread?
@@caiticork8786 I wouldn’t get a mirror with the intention to do lots of structured caps, you can. But I wouldn’t. Vision would do better and there is still a learning curve.
@@Red.E.Hustle Thanks for the video. Can you explain the exact issues with structured hats on the Mirror? Can better needles improve the outcome? I have read recommendations on not using any backer material when embroidering structured hats. I'm asking due to limited space being an issue with buying the bigger Vision machine. The plan was to use Yupoong hats which seems to be of a similar build quality of the Richardson hats.
@@jlharris4830 bigger needles help. But you can do it. I love yupoong over Richardson. But if you plan on working with businesses, they all seem to prefer Richardson 112.
@@Red.E.Hustle Thank you. The BAi rep just replied to my email about the differences in the Mirror 1501 and the new Mirror. She mentioned that the software and interface are different as well as the inner parts have been updated. I've never used either lol
@ we are looking to buy two mirror models to add to our shop. If we do, you will be seeing videos. We just added two new visions and they are bigger than the original one. But they are also amazing, much improved in every way. Definitely happy with it.
I'm so glad your video came across my feed! I've been looking into both models and I'm torn. I really love the screen on the V22; something about the one on the 1501 irks me for some reason. Do you mind giving your take on the responsiveness of the touchscreens? Is one machine easier to operate over the other?
@@maryjamerson quality of the screen is the same. But the newer model has better software that makes the difference. Check with your bai rep, there may be a new model for the mirror, the m22.
@@maryjamerson that’s too bad. Being that you are on the first floor, I’d go vision v22 if you can swing the extra 2k. Then you can pretty do it all and don’t have to worry about trying to get it up stairs.

Hi. Thank you for the information. What oil do you use for your V22 and how do you oil it? Do you use the pen or the bottle?
We use the pen for the bobbin area and picker and grease for the motor. I included links in the description.
Why would you say no to mirror with Richardson hats? Just curious what the vision is better at with doing structured hats
@@chrisnelson3932 doesn’t do them as well
Richardson hats have wire down the center so u can only do keft panel logos
@ we embroidery through center seam often
Thanks
No problem
I live in an apartment. On the first floor. Can you give some feedback on the noise? I chatted with her the other day!!
The mirror is less noisy. But not by a lot. The faster the machine is running the louder it is.
@Red.E.Hustle Ok gotcha! Thank you.

How did you learn to operate your first Bai Embroidery machine? Did they send some out to train you?
How many Richardson hats can you do a day just putting logos with the vision
@@joeyrodriguez5368 it would depend on how many stitches the design is. Some can stitch in 5 minutes some 30.
Can I ask who would service your machines in US?
@@suegiskaas8829 you could hire someone local or do it yourself. They send parts out.
The mirror is actually also 1200 spm max speed
The model we have are 1k
Thanks
