There are more gameplay mechanics for Ajay to work with. Being able to do a chain takedown out of an above head takedown is nice so far Cry 3 can feel limited. But overall Far Cry 3 still is fun and as you demonstrated you can do some amazing things.

ajay was a better protagonist in my opinion because he wanted to make his mother proud and his connection to the villain is much more better in my opinion
Ajay may have a better assortment of weapons to chose from, and has superior combat training given he was in the U.S. Army before the events of his game, but the lengths Jason has gone to accomplish his goals and the feats he's pulled off in the process exceed what Ajay has been shown capable of doing. If this were to happen, I'd give it to Jason, especially if it came to close quarters.
If jason was in far cry 4 and could do the same thing aj can he would definitely be better due to jason being crazy when it comes to revenge or just surviving in tight situations.

Jason-A rich playboy who went on rook island with his friends on a vacation and then gets kidnapped by pirates and then he escapes but and then kills a pirate which that was his first kill and might have reget it at first he just wants to save his friends however when he has the tattau of the rakyat given by dennis and then he started to kill a bunch of pirates and started to get used to it but he needs to unlock his full potential to defeat vaas and hoyt so citra gave jason some kind of poison to prove himself so he fought a giant and killed it with the ancient knife straight to the eye and then gains the full power of the tattau and finally killed vaas but jason was no longer the playboy he was before he became a rakyat warrior and decide to stay in the rook island but when he found out his brother riley was alive he planned to save him with the help of sam destroying hoyt's communication center and fuel depot and then when jason fought hoyt in a knife fight jason was victorious and was able to save his brother Ajay-Born in kyrat who lived in america and then he went back to his country to fulfill his mother's wishes however he was taken by pagan and his royal army but escapes with the help of the golden path unlike jason,ajay already knows how to use a gun and is not afraid to kill people despite he is mohan's son (he might be kalinag's reincarnation but i don't think thats true) he was able to beat yuma on his own pagan's second in command of the royal guard and he killed lots of royal army and guards on his own and even liberted fortresses including pagan's and he even fought and killed yetis (in the valley of the yetis dlc)
