    Crazy consume channel changes is how my inner monologues go.
    I’ll have a long train of thought and reach some kind of conclusion and then be totally unable to remember how the journey began.

    Omg! Dave sounds a bit like how my ENTJ (what he tested; he may not be this) treats me...he just tunes me out after I dump random fun things on him. But other times, he seems fine about it. Guess these types have to be in a certain mood.

    For Real question (for all the OP folks):
    In this system, would:
    "Sit back and throughly observe (all the options, perhaps-i.e. take in all the data) prior to deciding (i.e. prior to forming a conclusion)" count as:
    "Consume?"

    what’s the difference between someone who is a jumper and someone who just has a super developed third function? my ti child has developed like crazy in the past couple years, eventually leading me to figure out all this stuff, so am i a jumper now? id say i prefer my ti over fe now, but i used to not. is that possible?

      Great question, that I wish someone would answer:)

    • @Brickwilliams
      @Brickwilliams 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kellikakes81 thanks, but after expanding my knowledge in this field I think the term jumper is just another way of describing an underdeveloped parent function. So I don’t think it’s as black and white as skipping the parent function, I think the parent function can just be underdeveloped based on nurture, which makes the child function seem stronger. But I don’t think your child function can become stronger than your parent, it doesn’t make sense. Because couldn’t you say the same about hero to parent, child to inferior?

    • @kellikakes81
      @kellikakes81 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Brickwilliams I had such an a-ha moment for the former part of your response, because I have a friend who seems to be (and tested as an) ESFP but her Fi is lacking imo, and it makes me question that maybe she is a Te dom, but likely, she is just an Se/Te jumper. She has had a lot of childhood trauma and had to grow up fast, therefore that Fi function did not develop too well.
      To the latter part of your response -- I hope I explain this correctly and may sound confusing -- but I think there are thresholds to every function depending on tier, so no matter how great I become at my inferior function (personally/ internally), the process will never be as naturally organic as a dominant. It would be more stressful for me, although I can appear "good" at it). In fact, my ex is an ISTJ and his house is always a mess (because he's too busy) and my house is always cleaner, although I'm ENFP and Si inferior. But I will never intrinsically feel at ease with organizing and doing things in a particular order as he does once he starts Si - ing (and Te - ing). For me it's like, "Let me do this, so when my brain goes Ne, I have some semblance of order to get back on track."
      That was probably much more than you asked for but I am literally procrastinating...supposed to be doing my work but it's boring the life out of me and your comment is more exciting. But let me get back because I need to pay bills lol.

    • @Brickwilliams
      @Brickwilliams 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kellikakes81 lol, but yeah I think childhood trauma and neglect is probably the main contributor to parent functions being underdeveloped. I also agree that there are limits to each function despite what people say. Like I hear all the time that inferior can aspire and actually out perform hero, but idk if I agree with it because it can’t last nearly as long. I have se inferior so I can’t perform well for period of time, but it’s always stressful and it takes a lot out of me compared to an se hero who can perform all day at a high level and loves doing it

      They're short videos with enough jokes to be accessible for someone with Play in their top 3. I often suspect that they do this on purpose to accommodate the Consume-lasts. Either that or Consume-Last Dave just does it that way because that's the type of video he likes, which amounts to the same.
