Yesterday I have installed AEM 21-773C cold air intake system for my 2 liter Mazda 3 BM, and this thing makes the engine sound REALLY LOUD inside the car. If you care about driving comfort, consider purchasing AEM 28-20293 - air filter which you put inside the stock box. First impression after a short ride - performance wise AEM 21-773C feels to be slightly better. Also I think fuel economy is a bit nicer? I'll give it a shot for a while - especially that soon I'll do a longer trip from Poland to The Netherlands. With stock intake + AEM 28-20293 I had a really nice fuel economy ~5 liters/100 km (47,04 mpg) when driving 120km/h (74,5 mph) on cruise control (most of the time). I wonder if AEM 21-773C will beat that. BTW very good tutorial - You helped me a lot with installation!
