Indeed. I've deleted videos I didn't like from my TH-cam history using Android to keep it from affecting recommendations. Recently got a cheap used iPad just to use for videos around home, and clicking one of those videos caused it to resume playback from where I stopped previously, despite it not being in my history. Because they still have everything, all I did was hide it from myself.

Local speech to text that gets the two most important things right. 1) doesn't permanently store arguments with girlfriend in the cloud. 2) two s's and two n's.
I'm not getting 2). None of the permutations make sense to me. snns, snsn, nssn, ssnn, nsns, nnss None of those are an abbreviation I've seen before. I can't think of anything else which could be meant by this, either.
One thing I've noticed about Louis is how eloquent he is. Your train of thought is always right there, so many of us can't do this without some sort of training.
Studies have shown its correlated with your working memory, which determines your ability to juggle different concepts. This also helps with focus because you're able to orient your thoughts better. It's largely a genetic trait but can be improved. I often struggle with speeches and focus since I've found my working memory to be on the lower end.
For a speech made up on the spot, I’m impressed at how Louis set up, expanded upon, and tied together all of his points so perfectly. I am now scrubbing my Takeout for creepy junk that doesn’t belong there.

Currently, using voice to text with the FUTO keyboard, I currently have a box fan directly on me and I've been using this keyboard for about a week now since you first made the video about it. I'm very impressed with this keyboard. It has been wonderful. It is very accurate and fast with the voice to text.
I mean I read any agreements to do with housing, insurance or anything where I'm supposed to be making/earning money rather than spending it, but _even I_ didn't read the Google TOS.
@@addison1024 Yeah, that makes sense, too. Especially if you're in the US where banks are less regulated than here (UK) and sometimes you get things like low deposit fees. I do actually tend to read them for banks as well, but I don't open up bank accounts that often, and usually the majority of the terms are about general overdraft interest and fees, which aren't relevant for any of the accounts I have anyway. Also credit cards. Definitely read the terms on those. Don't want to get caught out and actually have to pay the extortionate interest rates.

They even put user agreements in a lot of these tech products that you don't agree to till AFTER your purchase and you can't use what you ALREADY "bought" till you agree to it.

I DEFINITELY quickly eyeball-skim everything that I'm agreeing to (EULA/ToS/whatever) and scroll all the way to the bottom, no more than 10 or 12 seconds, because devs sometimes hide optional bloatware in there with check boxes or just other questionable things that I'd have to uncheck. It hasn't happened to me in a long while thankfully AND YET I still quickly skim through every single thing being installed or agreed to just to make sure there is no hidden BS because I have trust issues now lol.
I have been using the Futo keyboard now since this video came out and I will say it is very nice but I do wish that it had the ability to type the words that I am saying while I am using text-to-speech, This way, if I am speaking a very long sentence, then I can look back at what I've said to ensure that it is correct without having to wait. Other than that, the text to speech is rather fantastic and actually better than the Google keyboard I was using at the time. So this is a big thumbs up for me and I really enjoy the product.
Just chiming in here to say that I was skeptical at first about this keyboard. I made the change because I was starting to get a little frustrated with the features of the Android system keyboard. So I figured why not try it out? It took a little bit of getting used to, but for the most part, the change was relatively smooth. Then I decided to try out the speech-to-text feature, and I gotta say, I am blown away at the performance of it. Right out of the box, it recognized exactly what I was trying to say with very few, if any, errors at all. What's more is it is lightning fast. It takes maybe one second at absolute maximum to determine exactly what you say during a single voice input. In fact, it actually figures out what I'm trying to say faster than I can even say it. It can even detect errors in what you say, like if you stutter or say a single word multiple times in a row, sometimes it actually picks up on that and does not include the errors in what you speak. Just to drive the point home, this entire comment was formed entirely with the speech-to-text input, no other user input. This truly is an amazing keyboard.

My ass was torn but that was the best thing ever happend for my confidence in public speaking. I avoided everything in school but had i took the chance to speak publically then...
I am not saying that what google is doing here is a good thing, it should clearly at least be screaming in BOLD TEXT when you first use it so user knows. But from programmer point of view kind of understand it. You want your SW to be good in translating your style of talking. Best way to do that is to store all your translations and when you make changes in the SW just run them thru again to see if it made same results. The offline feature works now, but in 2009 i dont think it was really possible to do that. Also Czech language is not supported, so cant use it even if i wanted to. I know we are small country, but it sucks.
Another banger product from FUTO. You guys should make bundles. Like Voice + Keyboard, for 8$ instead of 10$. Or just plain general licences for all your products (maybe even future ones). I've bought Voice and to say I'm impressed would be an understatement (im french, so it doesn't work as well unfortunately, but even with my thick accent, it picks up my english very well)
I wish this would be also ported for iOS - in EU we can sideload stuff so even if Apple won't allow for such an option this could be a viable alternative of an ai keyboard for people with older phone models
I like how the Futo dictation app doesn't randomly capitalize words for no reason so that if I were to go back and fix every instance of it doing such it would take longer than if I had just typed out the message in the first place.
I love FUTO's Voice to text, and I wholly back this project. The keyboard is still pretty rough, swipe texting is miles behind Google's, sadly. I still daily drive FUTO Keyboard to avoid their bullshit data collection though.
I'll definitely download it on my Phone, but in its current state it's sadly unusable for me on my Tablet, as it seems like there is no split keyboard setting yet, which is vital on a big tablet. so hopefully that will be implemented soon 😅
