You should play arena the intended way aka using the weopons u started your account with because after a certian amount of waves beaten your weopon changes in arena if you use the begginer items/weapons Edit the weapons must be common tier for this to work
There are many, many tips I could give you in tournament but I'm honestly too lazy to write them out. I'll give you the most important ones For ice palace / pool party you want either bubble gum or aphrodite crossbow For ghost town you ALWAYS want pasta sniper rifle for the reload healing and armor regen effect. And your melee should always be the armored cubic power, its the recent lottery melee, the reason for this is because it has a 50% overall damage reduction when you hold it so its a lot harder to get one shot. Combine this with pasta sniper on ghost town and you're nearly unkillable You shouldn't do tournament unless there is 1 or less days left in it, AND there is a duels map available for the last day of the tournament. Queuing on the last day allows for much easier first place as late queuers are not usually grinders. If you start playing immediately with 3 days left youll get people who get like 1000+ trophies. Lastly if you see someone who you can't beat in duels and you encounter them again, just press the home screen on your device and then open pixel gun again. It will disconnect you before the match starts and you won't lose trophies and you won't have to fight the player you lost to and waste more time.
