Seems more like a B1 area comversation, but thank you for this. The video gaming part was unexpected and its awesome to hear people talk about n64!
Really nice dialog.
Appreciate your work. I'm at the A1+ lvl. I learn by myself only. It is difficult, but I think learning language is like world discovering.
Guys, I wish you all achievements in your plans and intentions)
Thanks for the video🙂
You can do it!
I love how the waiter just sits down and decide to have a normal social conversation with the customer 😆😅just because it is complicated having a simple coffee these days 😂
😂🤣
Es ist sehr lustig. Ich mag dein Humor und wie du über verschiedene Themen sprichst, die nicht auch über Café oder Club sind
Das ist wie mann kann lernnen , Great job
I’m getting back into my German language learning and these videos are so helpful. Having context when learning a language definitely helps me!

DU BIST SEHR GUT MANN. DANKE SCHÖN
Man, this has to be at least B2
I would say the content is A2. It’s just harder when heard
Vielen Dank. Ich finde das Video gut und informativ.
Sehr gut, danke.
Ben: What do you do for a living?
Luka: I’m an author
Ben: What do you actually do for a living
Luka: I’m a waiter
💀
I think I'm funny sometimes. :)

Danke !
Gerne!
Sehr interessant Gespräch!
Danke.
Great
Frogger should be like GTA for Germany, while it was just another teaching class for UK hahaha. I find very useful this conversations.
Lived the dialog 😂
In case anybody doesn't know the difference: the soil where coffee plants grow effects the flavor of the bean - Colombian coffee has a more acidic (sour) taste. Brazilian will have a deeper flavor, like a nutty cocoa... Ok ok... now back to the language learning.
That's a super interesting fact! Worth reading about it more 😮
sehr gut :)
Danke schön.
Können Sie Bücher empfahlen um Deutsch zu lernen. Ich habe schon alle Angelika Bohn Bücher gelesen, und You go me on the Cookie, aber das ist ein bisschen schwer. Danke für deine Hilfe.
Correct me if I’m wrong here. Was German one of the primary languages to learn post WW2? So if it wasn’t for the Nazis coming in we would be speaking more German in the Americas?
0:58 Based
agreed
The third conversation is all about family tragedies!! It sounds sad!
Ich habe die nächsten 9 Mai einen A2 Pröfung. Ich bin nervös. 😞
Kommen Sie aus Deutschland oder aus den USA?
ich denke er kommt aus den USA
Ich habe über 867-5309 gelacht (ich bin alt).
So hard. :(
Thanks, this is quite helpful, but why did your characters duzen before they hardly knew each other? Is siezen really so uncommon these days? And, what I especially want to know: as a tourist in German-speaking countries, wouldn't I mostly be addressing people with Sie?
In Berlin (where I meant for this to take place), it is quite common for younger people to use du with one another without ever using Sie. While studying at Humboldt University in 2009 it was so common that even my professors (who were not young) told us on day 1 to use du with them. Siezen is still the standard and what you should use when talking with most people as a tourist.
@@MrLAntrim I see. I've watched a number of German (& Italian) instruction videos that seem to have foreign tourists uppermost in mind but which seldom feature the formal you. As an elderly American tourist intent on presenting a favorable impression of Americans to my foreign hosts, this is frankly a bit frustrating to me. (IOW, I hear so much informal usage that I have to take extra pains to avoid similar phrasing when addressive strangers.) Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
Why did u put US flag for English
They speak English in the USA.
This is not A2 level
Is it A1? B1? What would you categorize it as?
@@MrLAntrim Definitely B1
Nice
