OCD Documentary // Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale

Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale shares the story of her journey through OCD with us for our sixth story in our OCD series. Elizabeth grew up suffering with severe contamination OCD that would keep her in the shower for up to 16 hours and led to her having to move out of her parent's home believing it to be too contaminated. She has been able to find help with her OCD through therapy and found a desire to help others by becoming a therapist herself.
Our hope in this series is that it educates us and brings awareness to the battle that those with OCD deal with on a daily basis and how we can better care for them.
