I actually think this is one of the easier one's in the game when you get used to it, it looks daunting but nothing there is actually too hard for your fingers once the muscle memory is down.
Played acoustic for 3 months or something last year. Used youtube as my teaching tool but got bored. Then I got Rocksmith and my first electric in November last year and have spent about 430 hours in that game now. Haven't had any lessons because I'm too lazy.
@@noahpacheco944 its like 95% muscle memory for this stuff, like Xyber said the best thing to do is just put it on riff repeater, slow it down to like 50% and just play that again and again till its easy then put it to 60 and step by step practice all the sections till you have them up to speed. after doing that for a few songs, you'll notice you've improved at learning them.
+Bradley Ngan Completely agree, I'm learning guitar using Yousician (app), where you basically train loads in just switching strings, and Rocksmith's way of shifting up and down the entire fret board is driving me crazy!
+René Vest It really isn't clunky when you get used to moving your hand up and down the frets and they do play it just like it is tabbed here. Here's from a live show th-cam.com/video/26-DhyR7-Ao/w-d-xo.html If the time stamp doesn't work, go to 1:35.
I have learned to play using Rocksmith, youtube and just playing along with tabs and I'm pleased with where I have gotten so far. It's certainly possible to learn how to play using only Rocksmith, but you also risk learning some bad habits that might hinder you in the future that a normal guitar teacher could've helped you with.
Xyber ooh wow thank you for your response. actually I play acoustic guitar but nah I'm not that good, only picking and strumming and basic chords is all I know. the guitar is my problem now. they say epiphone is great for beginners. I'm planning to buy an Epiphone LP-100 LS. is it good?
Any guitar in that price range is a great first electric guitar. I would recommend trying to find a store where you can try it out first if you haven't, you want something that won't be uncomfortable for you. But if you have decided that it's the one you're gonna get, you most likely won't be disappointed. It will take some time to get used to how it feels to play compared to an acoustic, but you get used to it pretty quickly.
Hi there, Quick question, I've tried uploading my playthrough of this tune and it keeps getting blocked on copyright grounds. How did you get yours through?
I've been hearing this is a problem for a lot of people. Don't know why mine was allowed, maybe uploaded it before something changed and I just get to keep it or something.
The chords at 0:24 : How in hell do you only hit 2 strings ??? Or am I getting the chord wrong and you have to hit all strings ? Cause to hit Yellow, blue and orange -> OK to hit all strings -> OK to hit only yellow and orange -> HO BOI MY FINGERZ R NOT READY !
Gotta get used to muting the other strings with either the long finger (which I don't like) or by resting the index finger on all the strings that you don't want to ring out. For those octaves, I put my index finger slightly higher up so it touches the E string and mutes it, press down on A and then have it touching all the other strings. You pretty much do the same as you do a bar chord, but don't press down the other strings as much. It's super easy when you figure out how to hold it.
Nice, but for some reason i got 101.5%... Logic, idk and im 73rd overall on master mode too, no notes, all from memory! You should try master mode haha, i think my score was something like 714,000 or whatever haha
Do you sound this good through an amp? I mean does it flow? I realise the game adds effects to the tone like a pedal would. But can you play this without the game?
I can't play this song yet, because I've only played it a few times in the game so I don't really know it. But for some stuff that I've learned I can do pretty good now. Here's a song I recorded and edited together with the original and it sounds almost spot on apart from that bit where I needed a clean tone (haven't figured out an easy way to change to that in guitar rig on the fly :P) db.tt/6iTNr9Hv
That just looks difficultly epic! One of my favorite songs in the game but haven't gotten far on it. That looks hard lol
And its hard. I have 40% but nice song :)

used to love playing this song
Thats kind of how i was. thanks by the way. keep up the awesome videos too. i really enjoy watching them and playing along to them!!
great Song!
Awesome video man
AWESOME.
great song
im at about 87% on this song and I just got it Monday my fav song in the game so far, first two songs I want to master is r u mine and bat country
Bat country is a fairly easy song to learn if you can get past the insane rift at the start and the finger picking in the middle... Good luck :-)
My fav song in the game, i got 93% and i was all like :O and then i played again and got 85% when i did a rerun :/
I do great at 80-90% speed, but when I try it full speed my fingers panic. lol 😂
I'm 99,2%, just can't do the solo and the end sequence
any tips?
+Brendon Benevides Just slow it down as much as you need to with the riff repeater and practice. :)
I suck at guitar any tips? not mocking you im serious I really suck any tips?
Brendon Benevides here's an advice - instead of writing "i suck" comments, practice.

I'm so getting this game, so I don't need to find tutorials for them
im a super beginner at guitar and i like playing this song but watching this just made me shit myself
same bruh
WTF at 2:22 a hammer on (or pull off idk) in the green string ?! But they don't tell you to touch the string before ! Can someone explain please ? ):
You can still hammer on a string without playing it first.
you just have to pretty much slam your finger onto the string kinda similar to what you do with tapping
Ah it now ! Sorry I know nothing about guitar playing xD
I still need to work on my pull offs and slides. That's what stopping me from getting better oof
Be better
I hate the way they have the hammerons tabbed. No need to go all the way down to 7/9 when you can just use 2/4 starting on the A instead of the E
+Bradley Ngan It's easier to press down on the 7/9 than to press down on the 2/4
+chase cochran I just find I get a nicer "twang" from playing on the upper frets, personal preference I guess.
+Bradley Ngan Completely agree, I'm learning guitar using Yousician (app), where you basically train loads in just switching strings, and Rocksmith's way of shifting up and down the entire fret board is driving me crazy!
+René Vest The Rocksmith tabs are usually done so they are as close to how the artist plays it as possible.

This is insane, im only to about 40% and im still having a little trouble XD
this song is pretty easy, but I'm still having trouble on the solo
How do you do the part at 0:48?
Index finger on yellow, but also rest it on blue to mute it and then ring finger on orange.
Index on yellow third finger on orange middle finger muting blue is the way I roll
Plymouth RS Me too
i want to play guitar too. just like this. sooo, my question is, can you actually learn to this game on how to play guitar? ty for the response

Xyber okay thank you for your advice. :)) someday I will post my Rocksmith cover too. thank you for noticing me. 😁
its best to get a teacher for other technique, but you can learn some things

***** Thanks for the reply. I figured it might be something like that. I reuploaded mine anyway and disputed the claim and so far it's still viewable.

Thanks for your quick answer, gonna try it :) 🤘
I uploaded this song too. Mine got blocked. Better watch out.
Whatcha gonna do, watcha gonna do when the lawyers come for you.
very nice very nice. just started working on this song last night for about 2 hours. already up to almost 90%.
Nice, but for some reason i got 101.5%... Logic, idk and im 73rd overall on master mode too, no notes, all from memory! You should try master mode haha, i think my score was something like 714,000 or whatever haha
How do you make your guitar so loud on the game but keep the vocals at a decent volume?
Lewis Russell go to the mixer
I did that but I could only turn down the sound of the whole song, including vocals and guitar :(
grat songg
I have 54.7 on the song
R U MINE?
no

***** I have about 20-25 plays on this song, completion around 78% and I can play a passable version without the game.
which guitar are you using?
+e expert Epiphone G-400 in this one.
Was Epiphone G400 your first guitar?
+Tanmay Bagwe Yup. Bought it together with the first Rocksmith at the end of 2012.
the easiest song in game is blitzkrieg bop
Kraken no through the fire and flames...duh
"you really got me" with that one. pun intended cuz that song is easiest
JBritt depends on what diffulculty you mean,Idk bec ause its been a while since I've played "you really got me"
Hey, xyberlix, how long have you been playing guitar?
so is this the easiest song in the game?
Such Doge on the bass the easiest song is "you really got me now" by the kinks
yeah the bass is amazing if you ask me lol. but on the bass i find this to be one of the hardest songs to me.
the easiest is blitzkrieg bop, but you can get pretty far with this song... might have some trouble on the solo. I'm still trying to master the solo
*arctic
im 100,0%
do you use pick?
Yes
