- Continuing our ride out from Slovakia, we leave the castle and break up our Nature Hike camp. I try a recumbent bike for the first time and Honza from AZUB tries the TiFLY X they build for me. We meet some new friends who we share a few too many drinks with, and then we ride an incredible road to set up camp at the Plavecký Castle.

The algorithm unsubscribed me from your channel again! If that happens again please let me know. It happens all the time. Someone should fix this glitch!
I am sure many of us took your work for granted, you are doing a whole production team work alone, it seems while at your trip you were not just travelling but also working, ensuring you could produce a nice, seamless connectivity of videos. Great work, thank you! Hope more viewers would come back to your channel soon!
Very true
Another great installment for this series! Getting to sleep in a ruined castle must've been amazing. Your channel has quickly become one of my favorites and I look forward to every episode that you drop. I started following you a couple years back when pandemic lock-downs hit. I was building my own recumbent tandem trike and I'd decided that year to finally give up on "regular" bicycles that I'd been riding for decades and had long struggled to be comfortable on. I found you channel with your recumbent trike touring videos, starting out in Asia. I still haven't watched all of those - just some of them. But, that there was someone riding a recumbent trike, putting serious miles on it, and doing something as challenging as a world tour strengthened my resolve to give recumbent triking a try as a (hopefully), year round commuter in Chicago. Anyway, just wanted to say I appreciate your videos, and want to see you keep making them, so I became a Patron of yours over on Patreon. Keep up the good work!
Love your comments about how Americans should take advantage of the prevalence of their language, totally agree! Also love the outtake of grabbing the camera 😆
Thanks for the great video. Very enjoyable.😀
Great video! Impressed with the Ti-fly X.
Great drone shots of the forest in Slovakia. I think it looks similar to Supayang forest in West Sumatra Province of my country Indonesia.
I really appreciate your route map at the end.
Amazing, wonderful travel❤
Really cool place to bike in! Especially the castle and how you can get up there is great!
A good buzz never hurts. ✌ ☮ Sheeesh the driver of that car.... The view was definitely worth the push aye!
I enjoyed this segment, especially your transition to riding a 2-wheeled recumbent.
The 8th century paperboy hated that castle.
Really enjoyed your videos, I hope someday I can afford a recumbent trikes and go for some adventures. Thanks for sharing 🙏Greetings from Indonesia
Nice video, thanks fo sharing👍
Just relaxing
Matt you going to get smashed. Those guys know how to drink beer. Great video, loved it
Hi Matt. If you get the chance to try the Nature hike 2 person Star River Tent, I think you will like it. It is much roomier inside and has 2 side entry doors. Keep up the good work.
I'll check it out!
If you are ever in WA state you should try the Olympic trail
You should do trike tours
25:22 Beautiful landscapes!
"from AZUB to OZ" the yellow brick road.. :)
From Denmark: Wonderful adventure Matt in the company of knowlegeable Hanze as a perfect guide. I travel by bike (Koga) and monowheel trailer (Ziflex) This summer I shifted to 20 " FS Trike, keeping the same trailer and gear. Could please put a link to where I can buy those banana bags you used on this trip. Thx
Hey Ahmed.. the rear panniers are discontinued.. but you can search for Ortlieb Recumbent Panniers.
@@JaYoeNation thx Matt for a prompt answer
So you know now how it is to ride a recumbent bike too ;-). I watched your video today after I had my first lesson after a while. As it is nearly 2 month ago, that I last tried to ride my challenge furai recumbent, and after 600km on my normal bike through the balkans, I felt I had to learn everything from the start. A bit frustrating 😂
Hi Matt
Hey Mikko!
Hi Matt. I was following you in China before your truck accident. I’m riding an HP Velotechnik FS26 since 2014. Steve Green, the Trike Hobo, has one now too. He’s using the Catalyst pedals so he’s not clipped in. I thought I heard that you were as well. Is that true? If not, what do you use? If you have the Catalyst pedals, how do you prevent leg suck? I’m thinking of switching from my Shimano M324 ones that I’ve had for 8 years, because I’ve heard that Catalyst ones may reduce numbness and increase power.
Try 180 proof 😉😉😉
That's not for camping in the late fall in Ohio. We're getting frost here
Do your shoulders get sore without an arm rest ?
Nope. Not at all
Where the hell is the trike NOW???
