Have you ever been sleeping at a front desk in a police station and all the sudden you get waken up by a gunshot and see a burning man in front of you? I love that feeling.
I've been binge watching 90s hits, and finding so many songs that I had pretty much forgotten about, until I hear them, and then I'm like, "hey, I remember that!" This was one of them. If you had asked me to list all of the 90s songs I can remember off the top of my head, I wouldn't have been able to pull this one out, but yet, as soon as I hear it, I automatically start anticipating and singing along with some of the lyrics. It's amazing how the conscious vs subconscious memory works. And it only adds to the nostalgia when you literally haven't heard a song since back when it was big.
I started a new job at a retail store in September 1998 and I remember this song playing on the store radio on that day. First of probably 1000 times I heard this song while working there, lol. While I didn't like that job, I look back with a little bit of nostalgia at that time in my life. Still some good times!
I used to listen to this song every morning getting ready for school in the 8th grade. GOOD TIMES! There's something to refreshing and happy about it. Thanks for uploading this and putting a smile on my face!
