- Master P a world famous rapper had to fill in for his son because of an injury. During his time he would have his share of bad luck on DWTS especially the lowest scoring dance ever in week 4.

Poor Ashly, bless her heart she really, REALLY tried to remain patient and positive. She was supposed to have Romeo that season but he got injured outside of practice and due to the rules, his dad had to replace him. Romeo later competed ten seasons later and did pretty well, he would’ve been her best partner by MILES.

Even Len & Bruno were generous with those 2s. Totally deserved 3, 1s. In the quickstep, his face in the beginning looked like he didn’t want to be there. They had no chemistry & it showed. It felt so awkward. Totally disrespectful to the art of dance.

After watching tonight's episode, I began to wonder about the 'worst' dance of the show's history. I figured it was Master P's, so it was interesting to watch it again. I can only imagine what was going through Ashly's mind when hearing her partner was going to be Percy "Master P" Miller. I'm sure she was kind and open-minded, but I wouldn't have been surprised if she had thought to herself, "well, this is going to suck." There's being bad at dancing, and there's being a prick. Unfortunately in his case, he was both.

I usually find something to like about all the performances, dancing isn’t easy after all, and every celebrity starts out with different ages and with different skill sets. They try there best after all. But this guy...this guy...I forgot how bad he was, and what’s worse is he barely even seemed to try half the time. You just felt bad for his dancer, not to mention the celebrities who got sent home before him because none of them deserved that.

This was week 4 and he'd only clocked in 20 hours of rehearsal...that's 5 hours a week. Everyone saying "at least he stepped in" but what's the point if you're going to put in so little effort and approach so much with "I'm not gonna do/wear that"? He'd have been better off just not competing and just having one less competitor that season.

I didn't start watching DWTS until season 3, so I had no idea about Master P's involvement until I saw MsMojo's top 10 worst DWTS performances (that "Paso Doble" was rightfully #1). I'd really like to see Ashly have a chance to do that very dance over with someone who'll actually try instead of acting like Mommy just said "Go to your room."
I have so much respect for Master P for stepping in when Romeo couldn't do it. It says a lot about this man. Big ups to you Master P👍

I am also a superfan. Master P's cha-cha was, if this was a cut-throat dancesport event, very unacceptable. He would get an automatic no-recall to any further heats due to this "unacceptability" of the steps he did in the cha-cha.
Among the cha-cha moves Master P failed to do that would count as acceptable included:
Opening Out to Fan
Rope Spin
Aida
Curl
Sweetheart
Turkish Towel
Syncopated Cuban Breaks
Zig-Zaggers (zig-zag open runs, that is)
Natural Top or Reverse Top
Any type of Opening Out Movements
In his jive - also equally unacceptable too. Not enough jive content and if I were a judge, I would put an "immediate no recall" on my dancesport scorecard for P. In his "jive" -
Silver lining moment - He did do the charleston swivels almost in sync with Ashly, which is very good. The "running man" move Side by Side in place was not perfect but just good and that's all. But the rest went really terrible.
He was off sync in timing of his two-footed moves along with Ashly's 3-step chasses - Master P should have done more chasses to keep up with him. He was really bad in the jive when he deviated from her partner with his solo "air guitar move". And like the paso doble, P just only flung Ashly into spectacular moves, and his egotistic style of dancing destroyed their chance of good dance partnership and even chemistry as well.
She was giving them EVERYTHING to make up for him not even trying 💀

As a Master P's dance was, I kinda like the visual idea of pair dancing to a somber song one is desperately dancing their heart out, while the other is stone faced and doing the bare minimum to make it seem like he is dancing along with her.
It's like in some failing relationships, one person is desperately trying to keep it together while the other has given up. I know it's not that deep but still I like the visual representation.

WHY is the audience booing, i get them booing for some things but the judges are literally right for this, you cant tell me you watched him dance week 4 and actually think it was good, that was atrocious. a 2 is the correct score. and I'm bad at dancing but like cmon- he looked like he didn't want to be there and sometimes it literally looked like he was walkin on the street instead of dancing. I'm horrible at dancing but yeesh, even i can do better than that. and i don't know anything abt Ashely, she seems like a great dancer but like... did you not tell him he looks bad and push him to put some energy into it like........... ok ig she did but why does he still look like that lmao, i would yell at him. edit: ok she did and it ain't her fault he doesn't want to put in the hours like cant he follow directions and what was that album plug in the end wtf. i would be so done with him. another edit: ok after watching the packages, i can tell it is not ashleys fault he looks like taht

He is very smart and intelligent and he don't wear those huge clothes any more. He is an amazing person. This just wasn't his thing. LOL. Romeo wouldve probably been better for this tho.

In the quickstep, dancing to "Zoot Suit Riot" by Royal Crown Revue, I see those very lackluster and unacceptable things from P - his Big Top Line was not adjusting at all when Ashly was thrown into those galop or polka chasse sequences, his own footwork and technique in those progressive sequences themselves were way off sync, destroying any lead-and-follow chemistry that they would have if they were to do those galops perfect.
Later in the dance, Ps progressive sequences down the floor did get only a very teeny better and was even able to do a "quick run hop" in that (almost in sync with Ashly), but the rest of his quickstep was, as you probably know, dance fans, was so "extremely abysmal."
You really took it that serious?? Dude didn't care ...stop being so technical

6:08 trying to shake off the gum on the bottom of his shoes
Now if I were Master P's coach, I can replace his unacceptable paso doble content I saw above with acceptable paso doble content. For instance -
1. Instead of having his head drooped and introvert at the start, he should have been in a proud Spanish line pose with arms out in flamenco-like bends.
8:11 - In the Spanish Lines with Flamenco taps, P should have looked more at his partner and do much more with his free arms in sync with his tapping feet.
8:40 - Instead of just doing those very boring Simple Pivots to L, P should have done the Chasse Cape sequence on Ashly - much better "paso doble" content than what I saw here.
8:52 - Instead of being way off sync in the swivels in PP and back to Closed Hold and way off-rhythm, P should have matched that with better swivels of his own, or even better, do the Sixteen or the "La Passe" steps instead. Or even better, the Traveling PP Spins on Ashly. He could also do the "Coup de Pique", which has a lot of swivels, which only progresses forward and back, which is also good.
8:59 - Instead of those unacceptable "apart" movements I saw (where he just stays there like a statue and doesn't let out feeling-wise like a real matador), P should have swapped sides or switched sides much better and go into Spanish Lines as "stops" between the side swaps.
And on the last highlight, P should have watched Ashly go down on the floor, and he should have never looked up to the sky - because Ashly is like a bull, and you need to watch the bull as a matador in the fight, or you end up gored or even dead.

Honestly, I struggle to watch that Paso Doble. What he did, was a disrespect to the art. Honestly, I thought it was so funny that Tom knew what was coming and wanted to remind the judges to keep it, PG.
