But now the question is...Is it still animal abuse if the animal is already dead? Or just desecration of a corpse? I'm getting some Shrodinger's cat vibes here...THE CAT BETTER BE NAMED SHRODINGER!!
I missed this series, but looking back on it as an adult, man did this scream "90s toys marketing", but then again, that was pretty much all action based series in the 90s.
@@audermarspiguet6127 Always thought it was cruel that they played this right before mom dropped me off at school. I literally had to watch this while eating breakfast and getting ready! LOL Worth the struggle!

I have no idea where this suggestion came from but TH-cam algorithms got it right! I think this came on like 6:30 in the morning, so early, but such a good watch. 1997 was fantastic.
Love this show, but I just realized something: "Our strength is limited. When our power wanes, we must rest and recharge in our sarcophagi." Weren't they just resting for 3500 years? Shouldn't they have almost unlimited power?
You both hit the nail on the head with your comments... cartoons, music, toys, e.t.c were just fun and enjoyable back in the late 80's & 90's... we who were born in the 80's were lucky.
This comment should be noticed by everyone.. Because since last 15 years I m 22 now btw i was looking for this cartoon since I last saw this on cartoon network... And I tried Google but nothing helps.. And now my karma bless me with this.. Finally... I am so happy...
Mummies Alive is another cartoon I remember from back in the 90's, which was pretty much my whole childhood. Ja-Kal and Nefertina were and are still my favorite mummies. Rath and Armon were funny though and were also very capable of kicking Tut, as they would say, when a situation called for it. Namely protecting Presley, the reincarnated Prince Rapses. Scarab was such a twisted, ancient villain who could have given Jafar a run for his money in heinous ugliness. The only bummer about this series was that it only lasted for like two seasons. It would have been interesting to see where it could have gone if there were more seasons, maybe Presley would have been a few years older, and the stakes could have been raised not just for him but his bandaged guardians. But it was still enjoyable while it lasted.
Damn this is a flashback to when I was 7. Kid gets 3 bladed boomerang, badass main mummy can fly. I forget about the cat. 7am Saturday morning was the greatest time in the 90,s. You wake up early on Saturday and it's badass anime of the time.
What where u doing with a black and white tv in the mid 90s lol that’s some bull shiet u either had a tv or didn’t have 1 but TVs where everywhere at the point this was on there where just those old 1s that had the wood structure around it and weigh 500 pounds lol good ole fashion TVs it’s like there where built to never be moved
Deka Red considering the whole concept is an old cliche from anime, it's hard to say whose ripping off whom. Case in point, Voltron. Team suiting up, ultra mega fauna fighting robots that combine to form a humanoid fighting robot. and That show is old as hell and and it wasn't even the first to use the concept.
"After 3500 hundred years I am free! Time to conquer Earth!" 'Go go Power Rangers EGYPT FORCE' Oh my god that's a original Power Rangers idea. The theme song like Time Force or Mystic Force--hell the original theme of Power Rangers could work.
Pops out of sarcophagus with a 'fuller' chest, wears an amulet of Sekhmet (the goddess with a head of a lioness, daughter of Ra), sounds like a woman.... "No wonder he never went swimming in the nile with us" ... They ain't double D's but its not astronomy!

That cat's definitely sacred. It has the upper body strength of 10 humans!
I love any show that incorporates Egyptian mythology in some way.

Yeah but the literally explained that it's like a phone charger. So long as it's charging, it never goes over 100 percent. Works for the mummies too
That's true but then again they were dormant not asleep there's a difference
