Milica Djordjevic it romanticizes the whole tough guy smoking cigarettes cliche, i understand that augustus was meant to be a pretentious blockhead but seriously, cigarettes kill a lot of people. if he really didn't want to give the killing thing the power to do it's killing, he could've left them behind and never bought them in the first place instead of wasting $5-$6. that's just being arrogant/pretentious at it's finest. plus this applies to all the quotes in the book: they're all overused and generally not really good quotes.
She is just so down to earth and such an inspiration. Just hearing her perspective on certain things really gets me thinking. It makes me want to be a better person. One day I hope to be like her.

The society we live in now sucks, if you're not pretty, perfect, or has a perfect body than you're useless, according to society. Even if you are beautiful and have everything it's still not good enough and I'm so tired of people thinking they have to live up to this impossible standered. I think The Fault In Our Stars is a great example of thinking what you want to think and be who you are, live your life they way you want to. You don't have to leave a mark on the world for someone to remember who you are, all you need is that one special person who can give you an infinite within numbered days. This movie and book also show that life is unpredictable, everything can be all good one minute and everything falling apart the next. I suggest that if you don't understand the book, then I wouldn't watch the movie or visa versa. I feel like you have to understand it on a certain level in order to like it because there is some thinking that goes along with it. Maybe it's just me or that I think a lot like Hazel and a little like Augustus.

Its up to the parents. to be honest, be positive, not sugar coat things, allow girls to be whom they wanna be. as you are growing. you become more in tune with yourself. life experiences, the ups and downs. being secure/comfortable in yourself. the rest, its up to your picking whether its a yeah or nay.

AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDN'T CRY BUT LOVED IT ANYWAY?! I almost feel bad now. I'm really sensitive but I didn't cry much during the movie. I did shed a tear or two because of the relationship that Hazel has with her dad. But other than that I didn't cry, because it's life and shit happens. But I cry at life when real shit happens but I just don't know why I don't cry. Probably because I don't want my tears to cloud my vision so I can actually WATCH a movie. I think I've adapted to that. But I do kinda feel bad even though I did feel the emotions of the film, I didn't cry. :/
Two things I didn't like about this interview was the fact that she would ask Shailene a question and refer back to movie as if SHE, Shailene was Hazel. She's the actress not the character. I could see how it can become so close because she did very well as Hazel. Secondly, because that sexy sexy man, Ansel wasn't invited to the party. LOL
