Stereotypes are based on reality, people that cant handle reality have a problem with this fact. Some people claim its ok to stereotype some but not others but its really nothing you can control, its just your perception of things you see that are good or bad. There's also hearsay stereotypes which dont always turn about to be your perception but as far as obvious stereotypes they are completely innocent & comedian's use them a lot because they are funny. Don't fool yourself into thinking you've not been stereotyped because everyone has & its actually a very healthy thing. Discrimination is a vital thing as well because you'd be dead if you didn't discriminate. You discriminate against poisonous foods, things that are unhealthy & can cause physical harm. Then there less important personal preference discrimination like which TV shows you like & dislike & what type of world view you hold. Even when telling someone you think they are wrong for discriminating your also discriminating against discrimination. So as you see peoples obsession with stereotypes & discrimination is useless & sometimes down right disingenuous. didn't
