Iran and China were neighbor for thousands of years during the Silk Road , lots of cultural interactions; until Before British empire snatching Afghanistan. And created a buffer between two grand civilizations. I see lots of similarity between Iranian instruments and Chinese. I assume this music was epic theater and story telling .
You can really feel the weight, power and horror of a huge male lion who walks and dances before you by listening to this remarkable performance of the Orchestra.
